The Final of the Women’s Owen Hart Cup is also set to take place at this PPV. It will be between the two best female wrestlers in the company. Mercedes Mone returned after a long injury layoff and she was back at her best. Athena has had her moments but this will be one of the biggest Matches for her in her career. These two will have an amazing match and the winner of this match will face Thekla at All In for the AEW Women’s Championship.
Thekla vs Starlight Kid for AEW Women’s Championship
This is the type of match that becomes possible due to the name of the PPV. Starlight Kid is one of the most promising wrestlers from Stardom in Japan. Thekla will defend the title against her and this will be a power vs speed match. Thekla is the more powerful of the two and therefore it will be interesting to see how Starlight Kid adjusts to that. AEW has to make people believe that Starlight Kid has a chance to win this match. This could be the match of the night.
Jon Moxley vs Bandido for AEW Continental Championship
Jon Moxley is here to defend his title against one of the biggest stars in AEW. Bandido has worked hard to become one of the big stars and this match will be between two completely different Styles of professional wrestling. Jon Moxley is the staple of AEW and he has been the champion for months and had bangers against everybody. This match will be fast paced and there will be blood. Bandido will have to get his hands dirty to win this match.
Adam Copeland and Christian Cage vs The Dogs for AEW Tag Team Championship
The first PPV title defence for the new tag team champions of AEW will be against one of the more established teams in the roster. The Dogs are a team that has David Finlay and Clark Connors. This will be a match between two different generations of professional wrestlers but this will be a good test for the legendary tag team. The fans in San Jose will be having the time of their lives.
Kenny Omega vs Zack Sabre Jr
This is a literal dream match for every fan of professional wrestling. Two of the best wrestlers in the world and two of the most technically proficient wrestlers. Kenny Omega has established himself as The Ace and Zack Sabre Jr is the master of the submission. This could be a match of the year contender if given 35 minutes to have a barn burner. Both men have gas tanks for months. This match is the true definition of AEW Forbidden Door.
