NXT No Mercy 2023 was the latest NXT PPV that was held in Bakersfield California. This show was one of the best WWE PPVs of the year and Top 3 NXT shows of the year. All the wrestlers on this show wanted to show the world and make Shawn Michaels proud by putting on some of the best matches of the year. There were a total of 7 Matches on the show.

Blair Davenport beat Kelani Jordan
This match was recently added to the show and this was a short match that allowed both women to show their skills and it was another opportunity for Blair Davenport to stamp get authority and she won the match inside 7 minutes and she has the momentum now for a future championship match
Baron Corbin beat Bron Breakker
The result of this match was a surprise but the match was not. Baron Corbon entered as the American Badass Undertaker in a motorcycle. He and Bron Breakker had a great 10 minute match. They were given the time to tell a story in the match and Baron Corbin showed that he is getting better and better in NXT. And this might be one of the last appearances of Bron Breakker in NXT before he moves to the main roster
Trick Williams beat Dominik Mysterio for the NXT North American Championship
Dragon Lee was the special guest referee for this match and this was the biggest match in the career of Trick Williams so far. He was facing Dominic Mysterio for the NXT North American Championship and they had a killer match for 10 minutes. Dominik Mysterio has become very good in the ring along with his character work which is on another level. He is the complete package. Trick Williams is easily the most hardworking and most improved wrestler in NXT. He can go on his own and the fans love him. This match was where Dom screwed Dom and Trick Williams won the championship.
The Family beat OTM, Los Lotharios and The Creed Brothers for NXT Tag Team Championship
This was the Third best match in the show and this was one of the best tag team matches of the year for NXT. The tag team division in NXT is one of the best. This match was crazy as all the 8 Wrestlers had time to show the world what they are capable of. This was a 12 minute match where all the teams had a banger. The Family which included Tony D’ Angelo and Channing Lorenzo took on Lucien Price and Bronco Nima of the OTM and The Creed Brothers vs Humberto Carrillo and Angel Garza.
Noam Dar beat Butch for NXT Heritage Cup
This match was for the NXT Heritage Cup and Butch was the favorite to win. This match was a banger and it was for 16 minutes. Noam Dar has the opportunity to show in his biggest match and Butch was in his element. Noam Dar won the match 2-1 and Butch can go to the main roster once again and join SmackDown. This was a statement win for Noam Dar.
Ilja Dragunov beat Carmelo Hayes for NXT Championship
Ilja Dragunov vs Carmelo Hayes was the co main event and it was for the NXT Championship. This was the much anticipated rematch and this time it was only one on one for the NXT Championship. Ilja Dragunov wanted to win the NXT Championship and he was willing to go to any lengths and they had one of the best matches of the year. They wrestled each other for 21 minutes and they beat the crap out of each other and the NXT fans were having the time of their lives. After 21 minutes, Ilja Dragunov finally won the NXT Championship and the future for Carmelo Hayes is uncertain.
Becky Lynch beat Tiffany Straton for the NXT Women’s Championship in an Extreme Rules Match
This was the main event of the show and the match lived up to the billing. This was the biggest match in the career of Tiffany Straton and Becky Lynch wanted to have one of the best matches of the year. This was the best women’s match in NXT this year and they had a match that was more than 20 minutes long. A women’s match should be like this. They beat each other with chairs, tables, ladders, Bats. Tiffany Straton bled in this match and she showed that she was going to be the face of WWE in the future. After 20 minutes it was Becky Lynch who won the match and retained the NXT Women’s Championship.
