The main event for WrestleMania 42 Night 2 has been set. It will be the World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk against the 2026 Royal Rumble Winner Roman Reigns. The Best in the World vs The Tribal Chief in the Main Event of WrestleMania 42. This match is already better than the main event for last year which was Cody Rhodes vs John Cena. WrestleMania 42 will take place on 18th April and 19th April 2026 in Las Vegas NV.

CM Punk has been the World Heavyweight Champion since November and he will have been champion for more than 160 days when he will reach WrestleMania 42 as the World Heavyweight Champion.
