Roman Reigns won the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 42. He won it in one of the best main events in WrestleMania history. He and CM Punk had a 34 minute classic. Roman Reigns said after winning the title that he will be a full time champion which is a departure from his schedule for the past 3 years. The first feud for him as the champion has been set.

Roman Reigns was on the Raw after WrestleMania. He was there to celebrate the title win at WrestleMania 42. The Usos made their entrance along with Roman Reigns giving memories of the Original Bloodline faction. They were happy and were putting the ones in the air but then the music of Jacob Fatu hit. Roman Reigns was shocked to see his cousin be the first one to challenge him. Roman said to Jacob to acknowledge him but Jacob Fatu had other plans. He told Roman that he needs to win the World Heavyweight Championship because he wants the big house, the private jets, the big bucks. He wants his children to go to the top schools.
This was something that was so relatable because Roman Reigns has it all. He is the star of the company. Roman Reigns told Jacob Fatu to think about the challenge that he made for a match at WWE Backlash. And the first feud for Roman Reigns was set. It was something that nobody expected as the thought of Gunther being the one to step up was discussed. This feels fresh because both men are babyfaces and the fans love them. Roman Reigns is finally the babyface the WWE always wanted and Jacob Fatu is beloved by the fans as well. The Bloodline storyline is starting again and it is time for Cinema. Roman Reigns has said that he will answer the challenge by Jacob Fatu on Monday. This will be a very physical match and this is a match the WWE universe has always wanted ever since Jacob Fatu made his debut 2 years ago. He was a heel at that point but he needed more preparation and after 2 years on the main roster he is ready for a World Heavyweight Championship Match. It is simple storytelling but it is filled with layers. Roman Reigns would have preferred almost anybody else to step up so that he would not have to feel so many emotions. The Usos are also conflicted because they love Jacob Fatu and Roman Reigns. The end goal of this storyline will be Jacob Fatu joining the babyface Bloodline.
