CM Punk vs Roman Reigns for World Heavyweight Championship
The main event for Night 2 and the first WrestleMania Night 2 Main Event for CM Punk. This match has had a very good build with a few weeks of not so good storytelling. However in the last 2 weeks they have brought it back on track. This is the match that will divide the fandom as both men are babyfaces and the fans love both of them. The quality of the match will be top tier and they should get 35 minutes. Either of the 2 men could win this match and it would be the correct result. There might be surprises and Bloodline appearances. CM Punk has been a great World Heavyweight Champion and this is the night it ends as Roman Reigns will win the match and be the champion once again. The Tribal Chief needs to be on top for WWE to be cool again.
Jade Cargill vs Rhea Ripley for WWE Women’s Championship
The second World Championship Match of the evening will be for the WWE Women’s Championship. This is the only women’s match that is slated for the second night. These two women have not had a good build to their match despite being given lots of time. However the match will be great because Rhea Ripley doesn’t have a bad match at WrestleMania. This is where she shines and this will be the best match in the career of Jade Cargill. She will have Michin and B Fab with her. This should be a 15 minutes match so that the fans remember the quality of this match and not the storytelling leading into it. This is the toughest match to predict but Jade Cargill will retain her title as she still has to have that feud against Bianca Belair.
Brock Lesnar vs Oba Femi
This might be the most viewed match in the entire WrestleMania 42 Card. The reason is that this match will open Night 2 and it will air on the main ESPN channel. ESPN wanted Brock Lesnar to be in primetime because the casual fans know about him the most. This Is the biggest match in the young career of Oba Femi and he has been stellar in the build to WrestleManias 42. He has gotten the upper hand against Brock Lesnar for 5 straight weeks. This will be a 15 minutes Heavyweight classic and Oba Femi should and will win this match. This is a once in a generation opportunity to make a superstar out of someone in one night. The fans will be electric for this one from the start.
Sami Zayn vs Trick Williams for United States Championship
This is the most unique match in the WrestleMania 42 card. The babyface in this match is being booed by the fans and the heel is the most over WWE superstar currently. Sami Zayn has gone away and the fans cannot stop chanting Whoop That Trick. This will be a big moment for Trick Williams and he will rise to the occasion. Sami Zayn doesn’t have a bad match at WrestleMania. The 50,000 fans will be firmly on the side of Trick Williams and as a result it will be Trick Williams that will win the United States Championship and turn babyface. Sami Zayn will start his story turning heel. They should get 15 minutes.
Penta vs JD Mcdonagh vs Rey Mysterio vs Rusev vs Je’Von vs Dragon Lee for Intercontinental Championship
This will be the second match that will air on the ESPN channel after the Brock Lesnar vs Oba Femi Match. This six pack ladder match for the Intercontinental Championship will be the match of the night. All six men have something to prove. Penta wants to be a fighting champion. Rey Mysterio wants to show that he still has it and is better than ever. JD Mcdonagh, Je’Von Evans and Dragon Lee know the magnitude of this opportunity. They will do some crazy spots and be the highlight reel. Rusev will bring a completely new dynamic to this match with his strength. They should get 25 minutes to steal the show and have Match of the Year. Penta will win and retain the title. All six men stand to only gain from the match.
The Demon Finn Balor vs Dominik Mysterio
This is the 6th Match that will take place on WrestleMania 42 Sunday. It will be the return of The Demon Finn Balor after 3 years. Dominik Mysterio has been a thorn in the side of Finn Balor for a year and this is the culmination of their feud. Finn Balor has had to summon the Demon because regular Finn Balor was unable to do the job. This will be a short match because Dominik Mysterio should not be competitive in this match. He should be scared and therefore The Demon Finn Balor will win this match and get his revenge. Iyo Sky vs Asuka could be added at the last minute and the fans hope that both women get to have their WrestleMania Match.
