WWE announced yesterday that WWE Backlash 2024 will be held at the LDLC Arena in France on 4th May 2024. The WWE superstars and fans have been asking for a WWE PPV in Paris ever since the time that the live event in Paris was a sell out and the fans absolutely brought the house down. It was a year ago and WWE Backlash next year will be held in France. In 2023, WWE Backlash was held in Puerto Rico and it is still among the top shows of the year.

Elimination Chamber in Australia, Bash in Berlin in Germany and now WWE Backlash in France. This is the genius idea of Nick Khan who has made WWE into a hot ticket . He has made so that WWE gets site fees for all these events that they hold in other countries. The clamour for having a PPV in France started last year after a live event where the crowd absolutely tore the house down. They were singing to the theme song of Seth Rollins for 10 minutes straight. Baron Corbin got the biggest pop of his life at that live event.
And ever since that show the WWE superstars as well as the fans have been asking for France to get a major show and now WWE Backlash will be held in France next year. It will be held in a 16,000 capacity arena and all the tickets will sell out as soon as they come out and WWE can charge premium prices for these events. This is the latest in a series of announcements that gives the impression that Nick Khan wants to take WWE to every corner of the world and use the fan base that they have cultivated throughout these years. WWE Backlash has already become one of the most must see shows of next year because if they can have that energy in a live event, just imagine the noise at an actual PPV. Vince McMahon had his time and it is great that Triple H and Nick Khan have taken over the Reigns of WWE and all the wrestlers who are free agents will see all this and they would want to come to WWE.
WWE Backlash will be held right after WrestleMania which means there will be new set of champions in WWE and the first feuds post WrestleMania 40 will take place at this show. Therefore it becomes an important reset show for WWE and they will want to put on the best show for the 16,000+ fans who will come to France at the LDLC Arena for the event. Nick Khan is a genius and the other wrestling promoters can learn from him. He is taking WWE to new heights and it will be fair to see that this is seen a more successful era than the Attitude Era. And now that WWE is under the Endeavor umbrella with UFC, the potential for growth is absolutely massive. There will be more international shows announced and it looks like only the Big 4 events will be held in the USA for now and by looking at the responses of the fans across the world, Nick Khan would like to hold one of the Big 4 in another country soon in a massive stadium.
