AEW has been in the wrestling news all week with AEW All In and the number of surprises they had in store for the show. WWE will want to have their own surprises at Sunday Night’s Main Event. There are WWE superstars that can shock the wrestling world. The show will be held on 6th September 2026.
Let’s look at the Surprises to expect at Sunday Night’s Main Event Atlanta
Bronson Reed
This is a man that has been out of WWE for close to 8 months and he has missed both WrestleMania 42 and SummerSlam. Bronson Reed is looking in the best shape of his life and he can make his WWE return at the show. He can interfere in the Oba Femi vs Bron Breakker Match and help Bron Breakker In the match. Bronson Reed suffered a freak injury and he will be determined not to get injured again leading into WrestleMania 43.
CM Punk
CM Punk has not been advertised for the show. Cody Rhodes vs Randy Orton is taking place and CM Punk will have an interest in this match. This match has direct consequences for the WWE Championship. The fans in Atlanta will lose their minds hearing Cult of Personality. CM Punk has been a fantastic WWE Champion so far and all the top SmackDown superstars want that title.
Fatal Influence
Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss and Tatum Paxley are in a trio match against the team of Jade Cargill, Michin and B Fab. Fatal Influence has had beef with the babyface team for months and therefore the entire Fatal Influence which consists of Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid might make their presence felt. This will be a surprise and the women’s division will get more representation at this show.
Carmelo Hayes
This is a man that has been absent from WWE TV for a month. The WWE fans want to see him and at this show there is a match between Baron Corbin vs Lil Yachty. The United States Championship will be on the show and this match will have direct consequences for that title. Carmelo Hayes could return and take out both men and stake his claim to becoming the new United States Champion. The fans will give him a raucous ovation. Andrade El Idolo from AEW has also mocked WWE for the absence of Carmelo Hayes.
