1. Stone Cold Steve Austin vs Bret Hart (WrestleMania 13):

This was the best match of Stone Cold’s career according to the majority of WWE fans. This match made Austin a superstar even in defeat ,and it’s many thanks to the genius that is Bret Hart. They both swapped roles in the match so well with Bret Hart who was the babyface became a monster heel and Austin became the biggest face in pro wrestling. 2. Stone Cold Steve Austin vs The Rock (WrestleMania 17): 


The greatness of this match is that even after 20+ years it is still considered as one of the best of all time. The storytelling in this match was too class with both Austin and Rock playing their roles perfectly. The in ring action was non stop and both were so close to victory with many false finishes which kept the audience St its toes. They had the crowd in the palm of their hands and they just kept telling this incredible story of two icons squaring off in the squared circle.

 

3. Stone Cold Steve Austin vs Triple H (No Way Out 2001): 


This match took place between the Royal Rumble win of Stone Cold and the inevitable WrestleMania 17 Match with The Rock. Both of these legendary in ring performers gave the fans a great match in a unique stipulation which was “The Three Stages of Hell” match where it was Two out of Three Falls with included a Steel Cage match and a Street fight. The two best at that time delivered and it’s considered one of Stone Cold’s best matches ever.

 

4. Stone Cold Steve Austin vs Bret Hart (Survivor Series 1996): 


This was the first major PPV match between the two and both of them made a memory that most professional wrestling fans won’t forget. This was a very hard hitting affair with both Austin and Bret brought their A Game that night and from there it was clearly visible the insane in ring chemistry they had. This match solidified stone Cold as a great wrestler as well and his career took an up swing as well. Eventually they would collide at WrestleMania 13 which is considered even better than this one and recently Bret Hart told that this match took 2 months out of him as he was in severe pain and needed rest to get fresh again.

 

5. Stone Cold Steve Austin vs The Rock (WrestleMania 19): 


This was the final match in the unparalleled career of Stone Cold Steve Austin and yet again he delivered on the biggest stage of all. This was the 3rd WrestleMania match between the two and again they provided a memorable match for all the viewers watching and so many near falls happened but finally in the end The Rock hit Three Rock Bottoms to pin Stone Cold and thus it was the end of an era in WWE. The emotions surrounding this match make it more memorable for the fans.
