This match would most probably be number 1 on many people’s lists of greatest matches in the career of Shawn Michaels. This was professional wrestling at its very best and done to perfection. Every fan was so invested in the match from the start because the build leading to this match was tremendous. The entrances to the ring were perfect as well, lightness vs darkness. These two legends started slowly and with time picked up the pace and took the viewers on a roller coaster ride, and the kick out from the Tombstone was the moment of the match. After 30+ minutes of awesomeness, Undertaker won the match.

2. Shawn Michaels vs Razor Ramon (WrestleMania 10):
This is the match that took Shawn Michaels into a different stratosphere where he had an unbelievable ladder match with Razor Ramon. This match clearly showed how important the Intercontinental Championship was at that point of time and during that time there were not many ladders as there are today so it is impossible to think how these two great workers put on a clinic with just One Ladder. There have been many ladder matches in WWE but even after almost 3 Decades this match is still considered the Greatest ladder match of all time.
3. Shawn Michaels vs The Undertaker (Bad Blood,1997):
The first Hell in a cell match took place in WWE on this day in 1997 between The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels and the reason for this stipulation was because they had to contain Shawn and Undertaker where Michaels could not escape from the Deadman’s grasp. This was an instant classic and one of the most brutal matches in WWE History. It is widely regarded as the best Cell match till today. But the main reason this match is remembered is for the debut of Kane , Brother of The Undertaker. Shawn Michaels yet again showed his adaptability skills in this match.

4. Shawn Michaels vs The Undertaker – Career vs Streak (WrestleMania 26):
Having 3 matches in the top 5 best career matches of Shawn Michaels against The Undertaker shows how unbelievable their in ring chemistry was and they always put out matches that would be remembered forever. This was no different , The build to this match was the best they have had where Shawn got desperate to prove that he can end the streak and he did some dirty things and getting tired of all this, The Undertaker demanded that Michaels put his career on the line and at WrestleMania they created magic yet again and it was very emotional for the fans as well. They put on a clinic teasing Shawn almost ending the streak but at the end Undertaker ended the legendary career of Shawn Michaels and a moment was made.
5. Shawn Michaels vs Ric Flair (WrestleMania 24):
“I am Sorry, I Love You”. These words have remained with every wrestling fan since WrestleMania 24 where Ric Flair had his last match and it was one of the most emotional matches in WrestleMania history. Ric Flair was beyond his prime and he was talked into having his last match and he hand picked Shawn Michaels for it and they did not disappoint. It wasn’trhe greatest match but the emotions surrounding the match make this one of the best conclusions in WrestleMania history and an end to one of the most legendary careers in Ric Flair.
