The NBA 2020-21 Season is just around the corner. Here in this article, we look at the young players to watch out in this upcoming season.

Lamelo Ball:

Though picked as the third overall pick in the 2020 NBA draft, Lamelo Ball is already making highlights & is definitely one of the players to keep an eye on this season.

Ball is listed at 6'7 & plays point guard. His insane height at the point guard spot lets him see the floor better than other point guards and is already throwing lob passes to his teammates. Ball has shown as to what role he'll be playing in Charlotte which is going to be a playmaker at first and then develop into his game. Let's see if he can turn the Charlotte Hornets franchise around.

Anthony Edwards:

The number one overall pick in this 2020 draft, Anthony Edwards was somewhat of a surprise pick by Minnesota but fits perfectly in what the Timberwolves require. A 6'5 shooting guard who can also play at the small forward position, Edwards is athletic plus he's also the fastest player out of this draft class. Edwards has been a proven scorer since his college days and will work well with Karl Anthony-Towns & D'Angelo Russell. And now that Ricky Rubio is back in Minnesota, expect to see Edwards flying to the rim.

James Wiseman:

The 7'1 bigman out of Memphis state, James Wiseman as I have said plenty of times before, was the highest rated bigman in this draft. And the Golden State Warriors ended up landing him with the  second overall pick this draft.

Wiseman may be coming into the league as a glass cleaning rebounder but his ceiling of potential on the offensive side of his game is going to be really high. Wiseman's size doesn't just let him grab rebounds but also be a defensive presence in the paint.

It's going to be fun to see the defensive duo of Wiseman & Draymond Green in the future for the Golden State Warriors.

Cole Anthony:

The North Carolina prospect Cole Anthony may have fallen down to the number 15th pick in the draft but he possesses skills that help him on both sides of the floor. Anthony has come into the league as a mid-range shot creator but his range beyond the arc & athleticism is definitely going to catch a lot of defenders off-guard.

At 6'3, Anthony is extremely agile with a quick first step and ability to run faster than others on the fastbreak. His relentless energy also pushes over to the defensive side of the floor letting him strip defenders and intercept passing lanes.

I believe that Cole Anthony is someone who does have the skill to be a future all-star but till then is for sure going to be a constant scoring threat on the floor.

Isaac Okoro - Defense.

The 6'6 Auburn prospect, Isaac Okoro I believe is going to make highlights with his defensive abilities. His inside scoring & perimeter defense make him a desirable player to watch. And on top of that, his athleticism & size will let him posterize quite a few defenders in the league.

At small forward, this floor spacing slasher has already made a game winner for his team in the preseason, I wonder what else might be in store for him in the future. But Isaac Okoro is definitely going to be in the top 5 players to look out for this NBA season & also in the future.

Some other players to keep an eye out for are -

Obi Toppin - New York Knicks.

Deni Avdija - Washington Wizards.

Devin Vassell - San Antonio Spurs.

Patrick Williams - Chicago Bulls.

Onyeka Okongwu - Atlanta Hawks.
