Indian judokas are set to challenge the other top players in the Commonwealth Games 2026, which Glasgow, Scotland, is set to host between 23 July and 2 August 2026. The SEC Centre is set to organize the Judo events at the Glasgow 2026 from 31 July to 2 August 2026.
The country has sent 14 judokas to the CWG 2026, seven men and seven women. Indian men will compete in 60 kg, 66 kg, 73 kg, 81 kg, 90 kg, 100 kg, and +100 kg. Meanwhile, Indian women will challenge in the events of 48 kg, 52 kg, 57 kg, 63 kg, 70 kg, 78 kg, and +78 kg.
Indian Judo history in the Commonwealth Games
Although India hasn’t won any gold CWG medal in judo events, the country has shone with five silvers and six bronzes, as India has already claimed 11 CWG medals in judo. It is time to create a new history for the nation.
