1. Vinoo Mankad and Pankaj Roy (413 Runs): 


This legendary partnership is the biggest and the best partnership by India in test cricket history. This was also the highest opening partnership in world test cricket for over 50 years and Vinoo Mankad made a wonderful double hundred and Pankaj Roy made a great century.

 


2. Virender Sehwag and Rahul Dravid (410 Runs): 


Virender Sehwag and Rahul Dravid destroyed the great Pakistan bowling attack when they stitched this amazing opening partnership between them and in this partnership Sehwag was the star of the innings with a legendary score of 254 runs at over a strike rate of over a 100 and Rahul Dravid made a wonderful century as well.


3. VVS Laxman and Rahul Dravid (376 Runs): 


This partnership is perhaps the most important partnership in India’s test cricket history as Both these legendary batters did something that was not expected at all from these two and VVS Laxman played the innings of his life with 281 runs and Rahul Dravid made a brilliant 180 runs to help India register one of their most famous wins.

 

4. Murali Vijay and Cheteshwar Pujara (370 Runs): 


This partnership was the defining one for both the careers of Murali Vijay and Cheteshwar Pujara as they played the innings of their lives together and against a great Australia attack is something special. Cheteshwar Pujara made a brilliant double hundred and Murali Vijay made a great 167 runs.

 

5. Virat Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane (365 Runs): 


Virat Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane became legends in test cricket after this monumental partnership they had in this match against a great New Zealand side, Virat made a double hundred and Ajinkya made a wonderful 188 runs to his name.

 

6. VVS Laxman and Sachin Tendulkar (353 Runs): 


This was the Sachin Tendulkar match as he was determined not to play the cover drive and he persevered to play his best test innings scoring 241* and VVS Laxman ably supported him with a magnificent 176 runs and these two had one of the most legendary partnerships.

 

7. Sunil Gavaskar and Dilip Vengsarkar (344* Runs): 


It was the third Innings of this match and the Indian team needed a big score and both these great batters stepped up against the great West Indies bowling attack and both of them made 182* and 157* respectively.

 

8. Virender Sehwag and Sachin Tendulkar (336 Runs): 


This was the test match of Virender Sehwag as he created history for Indian cricket that had never been made before and he had the perfect partner to do that with in Sachin Tendulkar. Virender Sehwag made a career defining triple century and Sachin Tendulkar made 194 valuable runs for India.

 

9. Mayank Agarwal and Rohit Sharma (317 Runs): 


Mayank Agarwal and Rohit Sharma stitched a beautiful partnership together in this match against South Africa and they both hit 12 sixes combined and Mayank made a brilliant double hundred and Rohit Sharma made a wonderful 176 runs. This was a career defining innings for Mayank Agarwal.

 

10. Gundappa Vishwanath and Yashpal Sharma (316 Runs): 


This was a trest for all cricket lovers in India as two legendary batters showed what great batting is about. Gundappa Vishwanath made a solid double hundred in this match and Yashpal Sharma scored a brilliant 140 runs.
