FPL Gameweek 26: Players to watch out for

Before the deadline of Gameweek 26 comes by in FPL, all the managers will be looking to put their best team out in what is the biggest double gameweek of this season. With the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal doubling, Wolves with their current defensive structure, there are options to ponder ahead of finalizing the team.

Here we are with the players to watch out for Gameweek 26:

Mohammed Salah (£13.1m) - Liverpool vs Norwich, Leeds

The King of FPL is back after the AFCON disappointment and looks set to bring a haul this week in probably the easiest double gameweek fixture, Liverpool could get. Salah looked lively against Leicester after being brought on and after scoring in midweek against Inter, he looks set for more.

The Egyptian has the highest points in FPL this season, which has also led to the hugely popular opinion of activating the triple captain chip on Salah for this gameweek. While there were concerns about Salah resting, we have seen previously that when Salah is fit, he is rarely rested. The 55% owned player is the top target to have if you do not own him already, alongside Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Alexandre Lacazette (£8.3m) - Arsenal vs Brentford, Wolves

The Frenchman is one of the popular picks for the week, due to Arsenal’s favourable double gameweek fixture. Lacazette is a guaranteed starter in the Arsenal forward line, and he is on penalties which makes him an option to consider.

Lacazette has 3 assists and a goal in his last 5 outings. Against the likes of Brentford, whose away record has been poor, Lacazette will be a great option at the time when there is lack of options when it comes to forwards in FPL.

Kieran Tierney (£5.1m) - Arsenal vs Brentford, Wolves

Arsenal defence is surely the one to be considered in FPL ahead of double gameweek 26. The Gunners host Brentford and Wolves in 2 home games. Tierney and the Arsenal defence has kept 6 clean sheets in their last 8 games.

Tierney is also an option with respect to his attacking returns as the left back has scored a goal and assisted 3 in the last 8 games. Tierney has amassed a total of 64 FPL points which makes him an option to consider in double Gameweek 26.

Trent Alexander-Arnold (£8.5M) - Liverpool vs Norwich, Leeds

The Liverpool fullback is one of the hottest prospects in FPL due to his consistent returns. The defender, priced at a whopping 8.5m is also the most popular pick at 48.5% with a total of 156 points this season.

Liverpool have a favourable double gameweek this time as they host Norwich and Leeds. Trent is not prone to rotation and with the potential of points so high, Trent is one of the must haves for this week.

Armando Broja (£5.4m) - Southampton vs Everton

While the focus has been on double gameweek players, here is a single gameweek option in Armando Broja. The Southampton forward on loan from Chelsea has quietly gone on to impress under Hasenhuttl. Broja has amassed 4 goals in his last 10 appearances.

With the lack of options in FPL when it comes to forward, Broja can be one to consider as he faces an Everton side which are still in rebuilding process under Frank Lampard.
