RMA vs SEV Match Preview :

Real Madrid have caught wind in their sail in recent weeks as the team finally looks to gel well with Ancelloti's tactics. They are now unbeaten in the last eight games in all competitions, winning seven of them but only keeping three clean sheets. But that is unlikely going to bother much because the team is drawing out necessary results on the road with ease. The 2-1 scoreline became a recurring theme under Ancelloti although Real has scored more in the last two games with a 4-1 victory over Granada in La Liga followed by a 3-0 drubbing of Sheriff in the Champions League midweek. David Alaba scored an audacious free-kick on the half-hour mark to open the scoring before Toni Kroos & Karim Benzema slammed home to put them into the path for the last 16 stages. The aim is now to strengthen their stay on top of the league table against an opposition they enjoy a magnificent record at home. Real are leading the chart with 30 points followed by Sociedad on 29 and Sevilla on 28 points.

Sevilla also had their European adventure to cherish with a 2-0 win over Wolfsburg putting them into the climax of last group stage games where all four teams can qualify from Group G next month. Joan Jordan and Rafa Mir were on target for the win with the team focusing on solidity. In La Liga, Lopetuigi's men have been impressive with only one loss in 13 games and just two points off from the top. They may have drawn one more game than Real but are capable of upsetting them. It is proven by their defensive record with only 9 goals conceded compared to 14 allowed by the league leaders. There is no shame to say that Sevilla are in the mix for a title challenge this season and currently are better than Atletico or Barcelona, dejected by their issues. The side from Seville is also in competition with Real Sociedad on second and both know a slip-off in this fixture will allow the others to claim their places instead.

RMA vs SEV Team News :

Fede Valverde is still out with his muscular issue as Carlo Ancelloti delivered his injury update with Eden Hazard joining him on the sideline as well. David Alaba trained well after he was taken off against Sheriff but is still in some discomforts so his availability is being monitored for the weekend clash. Ancelloti won't be risking him. Dani Ceballos will start training in the next few days following his lengthy spell out with an ankle injury. The Italian manager is reluctant to rotate his squad and won't be resting players who are not tired.

Julien Lopetuigi has some key injuries in the Sevilla team to deal with and is keeping the faith on the replacements to be at their top of the game to prevent an opposition like Madrid from seizing easy grounds. Diego Carlos has traveled with the squad despite suffering some discomfort in the Wolfsburg win in midweek. Other than that, Jesus Navas and Youssef En Nesyri remain out for a month. Neither Eric Lamela nor Suso has been part of the travelling squad so Munir El Haddadi is tipped to start alongside Rafa Mir and Lucas Ocampos in the front three.

RMA vs SEV Expected Lineups :

Real Madrid: Thibaut Courtois; Dani Carvajal, Eder Militao, Nacho, Ferland Mendy, Toni Kroos, Casemiro, Luka Modric; Rodrygo, Karim Benzema, Vinicius Jr

Sevilla:Yassine Bounou; Gonzalo Montiel, Jules Kounde, Diego Carlos, Marcos Acuna, Ivan Rakitic, Fernando, Joan Jordan, Lucas Ocampos, Rafa Mir, Munir

RMA vs SEV Head to Head :

Real Madrid haven't lost a single game to the side from Seville in their last 11 meetings at the Spanish capital since 2010. Although Sevilla tasted numerous successes in their home, they only managed to draw once away to Madrid that too last season when Fernando and Rakitic scored on either side of a Marco Asensio strike and a late leveler from Eden Hazard.

RMA vs SEV Dream11 Team Prediction :

GK: Y. Bounou (SEV)

DEF: Carvajal (RMA), Militao (RMA), Kunde (SEV), Acuna (SEV)

MID: Jordan (SEV), Casemiro (RMA), Kroos (RMA)

FW: Ocampos (SEV), Benzema (RMA), Vini Jr (RMA)

Match Prediction: Real Madrid 2-1 Sevilla

Neither side will be willing to lose ground in this closely contested battle and it has all the ingredients for being a cracker. However, it is Real Madrid who are looking more promising to gain full points pointing out their terrific record against Sevilla at home. But the win won't guarantee everything just some more space to breathe provided that Sociedad won their game against Espanyol earlier on Sunday.
