Tottenham has had a hectic 2019-20 season. They managed to reach the finals for the first time in their history in 2019 but surprisingly under the same manager most the season fell apart. The North Londoners fell as low as 14th at one point and eventually Jose’ Mourinho was brought in for Pochettino. It looked better after Mourinho took over but it’s been far from smooth sailing with them having lost 2 of their last 5 games.
Manchester City had the best possible start of the season. They had a 5-0 victory and were on top. It was Tottenham who broke their winning streak with a draw. The dents in the armor started to show, with the team falling even to 3rd place at a point. Manchester CIty are still a team to be feared however, especially with the form of Kevin DeBruyne, who is closing in on record status. He’s not far behind on the record for most assists in a season(20 by Thierry Henry).
