After missing the FIFA World Cup for a long time, Austria have qualified for the FIFA World Cup 2026 through their strong performances in the qualifiers. Now, Das Team wants to show magic on the field in front of the world's football.
Although Austria isn’t a commonly known name in world football, the country has a rich history in the FIFA World Cup, finishing in fourth place in 1934 and third place in 1954. The FIFA World Cup 2026 will be the first time for Das Team to appear in the FIFA World Cup in the 21st century, having previously featured in the competition in 1998.
