EPL/Premier League Predictions for Gameweek 3
Chelsea vs Fulham
Chelsea are coming from an excellent 5-1 win over West Ham and have now proved they can dominate games even without star player Cole Palmer. Fulham, on the other hand, have yet to win a single EPL game. Thus, we go for a Chelsea win here.
Prediction - Chelsea 3-1 Fulham
Wolves vs Everton
Wolves have had a disastrous start to their Premier League campaign, while for Everton its been mixed fortunes so far. We expect this to be a tight game between 2 teams that are struggling a bit, and see this ending in a draw.
Prediction - Wolves 2-2 Everton
Tottenham vs Bournemouth
It will be the battle of super tacticians when Thomas Frank's Spurs side face Andoni Iraola Bournemouth's side. We expect this to be a high-scoring game and Spurs to just emerge victorious due to the home advantage.
Prediction - Spurs 3-2 Bournemouth
Manchester United vs Burnley
It has become quite clear from the opening 2 gameweeks that Manchester United have been struggling to score goals. However, we expect that to change when they face Burnley at home in Old Trafford and secure their first victory of the season.
Prediction - Manchester United 3-0 Burnley
Sunderland vs Brentford
After a shocking 3-0 victory over West Ham in Gameweek 1, Sunderland have suffered back to back losses in their EPL and EFL Cup Fixtures. On the other hand, Brentford are coming from 2 wins a row, and we expect them to emerge victorious here.
Prediction - Sunderland 1-3 Brentford
Leeds United vs Newcastle United
Newcastle were incredibly unlucky to not even get a point vs Liverpool, despite playing with 10 men due to Antony Gordon's red card. However, they'll be facing a Leeds side who conceded 5 goals against Arsenal. We expect a comfortable Newcastle win even without star man Alexander Isak.
Prediction - Leeds United 0-2 Newcastle United
Brighton vs Manchester City
Both Brighton and Manchester City have been a shadow of their best version that were dominating EPL 2 seasons ago. However, the contrast is Brighton keep selling their best players while City keeps strengthening their side. We predict an easy City win
Prediction - Brighton 1-3 Manchester City
Nottingham Forest vs West Ham
West Ham have simply been absolutely miserable, and we don't expect things to get better when they face Nottingham Forest away. In what could potentially be the final game of Forest manager Nuno EspĂrito Santo, Forest are expected to destroy The Hammers.
Prediction - Nottingham Forest 4-0 West Ham
Aston Villa vs Crystal Palace
Aston Villa have been struggling immensely as of late, especially with the club having to sell their best players due to Premier League financial rules. Crystal Palace have been brilliant under Oliver Glasner, who has surprisingly won 2 titles with them. At current form, we expect a narrow Palace win.
Prediction - Aston Villa 1-2 Crystal Palace
Liverpool vs Arsenal
Undoubtedly the Premier League game of the Week, 2 of the current best EPL sides will face each other at Anfield. Despite Liverpool's home advantage and attacking firepower, their worrying defensive performance so far means we give the edge to an arsenal side which is much more balanced and fluid.
Prediction - Liverpool 2-3 Arsenal
