Premier League Team of the Week - Gameweek 32
Goalkeeper
Robin Roefs (Sunderland)
Roefs put in a fantastic performance for Sunderland against Spurs, in what was the first game in-charge for new manager Roberto De Zerbi. The Dutch keeper made 6 saves and helped his team keep a clean sheet as well in their 1-0 victory.
Defenders
Mats Wieffer (Brighton)
Brighton right-back Mats Wieffer put in arguably his best performance of the season against Burnley, scoring a fabulous brace with goals in the 43rd and 89th minute to seal all the 3 points for the Seagulls.
Konstantinos Mavropanos (West Ham)
Konstantinos Mavropanos has one of those special performances any defender would love to have against Wolves for West Ham. Not only did he help his team keep a clean sheet, but the Greek star also scored a brace.
Marc Guéhi (Manchester City)
Marc Guéhi scored his first goal for Manchester City in their dominating 0-3 win over Liam Rosenior's Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. We feel this is just the beginning of a legendary career at the Etihad.
Nico O'Reilly (Manchester City)
Nico O'Reilly has been nothing less than sensational this season. He now has 4 direct goal involvements in his last 3 City games in what is a crucial phase of the season. Simply phenomenal.
Midfielders
Alex Scott (Bournemouth)
Alex Scott put in a marvelous performance from midfield for Bournemouth against Arsenal. There is even an argument to be made that he deserves to be a part of England's 2026 World Cup squad.
Casemiro (Manchester United)
Casemiro's ability to always be at the right position in the box and deliver headed goals is simply extraordinary. These are one of those traits you simply can't replace. He'll be a huge miss for them.
Noah Okafor (Leeds United)
Noah Okafor had one of those performances against Manchester City that he'll forever remember throughout his career. His brace sealed all 3 points for Leeds against Man Utd.
Rayan Cherki (Manchester City)
Rayan Cherki has been on a golden run with Manchester City in the past few weeks. He's unstoppable at the moment, having contributed to 4 City goals in his last 3 games.
Rio Ngumoha (Liverpool)
Rio Ngumoha made history at Anfield against Fulham, becoming the youngest player ever to score at the stadium in a Premier League match. We feel this is just the beginning for him.
Forward
Jean-Philippe Mateta (Crystal Palace)
Jean-Philippe Mateta was almost on the verge of leaving Crystal Palace in the Summer Transfer Window, which led to numerous Crystal Palace being angry at him. He's now gone from villain to hero after inspiring them to a huge comeback victory over Newcastle.
