Premier League Team of the Week Gameweek 5

Welcome back football fans, we are here with Team of the Week Premier League yet again. Epl Week 5 was filled with entertainment and featured some blockbuster fixtures such as Everton vs Liverpool, Arsenal vs Manchester City, and Bournemouth vs Newcastle United. Certain players from top EPL clubs performed brilliantly as usual, but there were some surprise performances for other players as well belonging to clubs such as Leeds United and Bournemouth.Let's not waste anymore time then, here is our EPL team of the week 5.

Premier League/EPL Team of the Week 5

Goalkeeper

Nick Pope (Newcastle United)

With a total of 2 saves and helping his club keep a clean sheet against Andoni Iraola's Bourne side, Nick Pope is our GW5 EPL team of the week goalkeeper.

Defenders

Harry Maguire (Manchester United)

Harry Maguire has had quite the revival under Ruben Amorim, and he was instrumental in United's win against Chelsea. A perfect example of a mentality monster player.

Marcos Senesi (Bournemouth)

Marcos Senesi is proving himself to be one of the best defenders of the EPL season so far, and we feel the best is yet to come. He defended fantastically against Newcastle at home.

Neco Williams (Nottingham Forest)

Ange Postecoglou's Nottingham Forest failed to earn all 3 points against Burnley, but things could've been even worse if not for the heroics of Neco Williams. A fine defender with great aerial goal threat.

Matty Cash (Aston Villa)

Unai Emery and Aston Villa have had a horrible start to their season, but Matty Cash made sure they earned a point vs Sunderland with a fantastic goal.

Midfielders

Mohammed Kudus (Tottenham Hotspur)

Mohammed Kudus under Thomas Frank has simply been sublime, and he continued his fine form with 2 assists against Brighton

Ryan Gravenberch (Liverpool)

Ryan Gravenberch has taken his game to another level under Arne Slot, and he is slowly establishing himself as one of the world's best midfielders.

Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United)

Ruben Amorim is probably still in a job thanks to Bruno Fernandes, and the Portuguese manager must thank him for it. Undoubtedly Manchester United's most crucial player.

Anton Stach (Leeds United)

Anton Stach is our surprise inclusion in this Premier League team of the week list for GW5. Leeds shocked everyone with a 1-3 win over Wolves, and Stachs played a huge part in it.

Gabriel Martinelli (Arsenal)

Gabriel Martinelli responded in the best way to being benched by Mikel Arteta, as he came on as a substitute and scored a world-class goal to deny 3 points to Pep Guardiola's Manchester City side.

Forwards

Erling Haaland (Manchester City)

Erling Haaland is back to his very for Manchester City, and every defender in the Premier League needs to be worried now. His goal against Arsenal was the prime example of a world-class poacher.
