As we all know Football is the most popular game in the world. All of us have one favorite football club. So for all football lovers Sports Social has brought a list of top 10 richest football clubs.

10) Juventus- £255.1 Million

The Old Lady is Italy's best football club. Founded in 1897 by some Torinese students.The club has worn a black and white striped home kit since 1903.The club has won a thirty-three official league titles.





9) Liverpool — £302 million.


The reds is a professional football club in Liverpool,England and was founded in 1892. The team changed from red shirts and white shorts to an all-red home strip in 1964 which has been used ever since. The club's anthem is "You'll Never Walk Alone".

Despite a prolonged absence from the Champions League, Jurgen Klopp’s side has held onto ninth place for the third consecutive year.




8) Chelsea – £334.6 million

The Blues or The Pensioners is a professional football club based in London, England. Founded in 1905, the club's home ground since then has been Stamford Bridge in Fulham.

As their Stamford Bridge stadium goes under expansion works this year, perhaps next year will see the Blues return to the top 5.



7)Arsenal – £350.4 million

The Gunners is a professional football club based in Highbury, London, England and was founded in 1886.Their home colours have been bright red shirts with white sleeves and white shorts, though this has not always been the case. Matchday revenues keep Arsenal in the top ten richest football clubs and it’s no wonder – a season ticket to watch Wenger’s men fight for 4th is the most expensive in Britain at £1014.


6) Paris St-Germain – £389.6 million

Les Parisiens (The Parisians) is a French professional football club based in the city of Paris. Founded in 1970, the club has traditionally worn kit colours in Red-and-Blue.  This is the first time France’s wealthiest outfit have dropped out of the rich list top five since being famously bought by Qatar  Sports Investments for €120 million in 2011.

5) Manchester City – £392.6 million

The Sky Blues is a football club in Manchester, England. Founded in 1880 as St. Mark's (West Gorton), they became Ardwick Association Football Club in 1887 and Manchester City in 1894.

This is the first time Manchester City have breached the top 5 richest football clubs.




4) Bayern Munich – £442.7 million

Die Bayern (The Bavarians) is a German sports club based in Munich, Bavaria (Bayern), Germany. It is best known for its professional football team, which plays in the Bundesliga, the top tier of the German football league system, and is the most successful club in German football history, having won a record 27 national titles and 18 national cups.

More domestic success this season coupled with a run to the Champions League semi-final should see the German giants stay in the list’s top five.

3) Real Madrid – £463.8 million

Los Blancos (The Whites) is a professional football club based in Madrid, Spain. Founded on 6 March 1902 as Madrid Football Club, the club has traditionally worn a white home kit since inception.

Winning their 11th Champions League and a steady annual revenue gain of 7% wasn’t enough to keep Los Blancos on top for the 12th year running.

2) Barcelona – £463.8 million

Barça is a professional football club based in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain.

The club benefited financially from huge sponsorship deals with Chevrolet and Adidas and a return to the Champions League.
