The Men's Football tournament in the 37th National Games will be played in Margao, Goa with eight teams taking part. They have been divided into two groups of four teams in a single round-robin format. The group stages of the Men’s Football in the National Games 2023 will start on 30 October 2023 and end with the final on November 8, 2023.
Last edition’s bronze medalists Services will take on fourth-place finishers Karnataka, joint-record winners Punjab and hosts Goa in Group A. The other group consists of two-time Gold medalists and last season’s runners-up Kerala, 1999 champions Maharashtra and Meghalaya. The top two teams of each group will qualify for the semi-finals of the competition. All the matches will be played at the Fatorda Stadium.
