The bowling attack is led by Jasprit and he will have Trent Boult, Deepak Chahar. This is an all round team and the playing 11 is genuinely one of the best in the world. They reached the semi final of last year’s IPL.
Kolkata Knight Riders
Kolkata Knight Riders are a team that had more than 64 Crores going into the mini auction. They have formed a very good team which has all bases covered. Their batting order is Finn Allen, Tim Seifert, Ajinkya Rahane, Angkrish Raghuwanshi, Rahul Tripathi, Manish Pandey and the powerful Rovman Powell. They have great all rounders such as Cameron Green, Sunil Naraine, Rachin Ravindra, Ramandeep Singh. Their bowling is one of the best as they have Matheesha Pathirana, Varun Chakravarthy, Sunil Naraine, Harshit Rana and the young Umran Malik. They have the team to make it to the semi final.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru
It would be foolish to not put the defending champions from last year in the list of the 4 Teams that could reach the semi final. They have basically the same squad. Their batting is Virat Kohli, Phil Salt, Devdutt Paddikal, Jitesh Sharma and the captain Rajat Patidar. They have great all rounders such as Krunal Pandya, Tim David, Jacob Bethell and Romario Shepherd. They have a problem of problems when it comes to their overseas players. Their bowling is Josh Hazlewood, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Jacob Duffy, Yash Fatal. RCB are a proper team that can defend their title again.
Chennai Super Kings
After 2023, this is the first year where the CSK team are looking like a well oiled machine. They have let go of the players that were playing the old brand of T20I Cricket. CSK have done a complete overhaul of their side. Their icon MS Dhoni remains the same. However they have Sanju Samson at the top with Ayush Mhatre, Dewald Brevis, Urvil Patel in the batting order and they are all young hungry talents looking to prove themselves. Ruturaj Gaikwad will look to make a case for himself in the Indian team. They also have Sarfaraz Khan. They have very good all rounders in Jamie Overton, Prashant Veer for whom they paid 14 crores, Matthew Short and obviously the destructive Shivam Dube.
