Recently Impact Wrestling gave its fans the great news that TNA Wrestling will be back from January 2024. Impact Wrestling is one of the leading wrestling promotions In the world and when it was TNA Wrestling it was in the best of health and all the top wrestlers in the world were in the company. And with Impact Wrestling it was unable to get the same traction from the fans and it has been demoted to the 3rd Bugged wrestling promotion in the USA.

TNA Wrestling is back
The name TNA Wrestling is one that is known to millions of wrestling fans just like WWE is known by its brand name. TNA was a brand in itself and there are some wrestlers that are known as those who wrestled for TNA. The likes of AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Kurt Angle, Christopher Daniels, Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan. All these big time names were in TNA in the early 2000s and it competed against WWE on a weekly basis. Wrestling fans used to be excited seeing TNA do so well and it kept WWE on its toes as well. The one thing that was bsf during the TNA run the first time was the women’s division as it was non-existent.

After many successful years of TNA Wrestling, the creators decided that this route has gone stale and a new vision is needed especially for the women working there. Therefore the idea of Impact Wrestling came to be and this was welcomed by all the fans because a Knockouts Championship was created which meant the women had a World Champion and a title to fight for. Slowly the women’s division in Impact became the best in the world as the likes of Chelsea Green, Deonna Purazzo, Mickie James, Gail Kim and so many others blazed the trail for all women. Recently Naomi arrived in Impact Wrestling and the women are one of the best. However, other than the women, nothing about Impact Wrestling worked because the TV ratings were below 100 L each week and nobody watched the shows.
The company did not have a proper TV deal and the wrestlers were not paid enough. With the emergence of AEW, the wrestlers chose to go there if they did not want to stay or go to WWE. And ever since Triple H has taken over WWE creative for the last 18 months, WWE is the hottest promotion in the world again. Impact Wrestling had to do something and after thinking long and hard , TNA Wrestling is back but the ring will not be the old TNA ring which had six corners. The hope is that with the name change, the fans will once again start TNA and it can be a viable 3rd option or even dethrone AEW for the second biggest promotion. The wrestling will be great but the business acumen has to be at the highest level because the competition is extremely high.
