Two-time T20 World Cup champions West Indies are ready to show their familiar strong status in the format in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, which India and Sri Lanka will host from February 7 to March 8, 2026.
West Indies were the first team to win the T20 World Cup trophies, when they won it in the 2012 and 2016 editions, which Sri Lanka and India hosted, respectively. So, there is no doubt about West Indies' high expectations for the T20 World Cup 2026, as the Caribbean side wants to continue their strongest T20 World Cup results in both countries.
While the West Indies are in Group C in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, they will play all their group stage fixtures in India. As they have been allotted for Group 1 of the Super Eight stage of the tournament, the West Indies will also play all their Super Eight fixtures in India.
