With his fourth Test five-wicket haul against England, Bumrah has recorded the joint-most Test fifers against England by an Indian pacer. Legendary Kapil Dev previously recorded four Test fifers against England.

With his third Test five-wicket haul in England, Bumrah sets a new record for most Test five-wicket hauls by an Indian bowler in England.
Fifers outside India
With his 12th Test five-wicket haul outside India, Bumrah equals the record for the most Test fifers by an Indian bowler outside India. Kapil Dev previously held this record alone with 12 Test five-wicket hauls outside home.
With his 14th international fifers outside India, Bumrah sets a new record for the most international five-wicket hauls by an Indian bowler outside home by breaking the previous record of Kapil Dev’s 13 international fifers outside India.
Record in SENA countries
By completing his fifer, Bumrah completed his 150 Test wickets at SENA countries (South Africa, England, New Zealand, and Australia), and became the first Asian bowler to achieve this feat. The previous record of most Test wickets at SENA countries by an Asian bowler was 146 Test wickets by the legendary Pakistan left-arm fast bowler Wasim Akram.
Jasprit Bumrah vs Joe Root
Bumrah dismissed English star Joe Root for the 10th time in Test cricket, which is the joint second most successful record by any bowler against Joe Root in Test cricket (Australian Josh Hazlewood also dismissed Root 10 times in Test cricket). Australian pacer Pat Cummins has the best record by dismissing Root 11 times in Test cricket.
Bumrah dismissed Joe Root for the 14th time in international cricket, the joint-most successful record by any bowler against Root in international cricket, as Australian right-arm fast bowler Pat Cummins has also dismissed Root 14 times in international cricket.
