Money in the Bank 2018: Predictions

Money in the Bank is one of the largest PAy-Per-View events of WWE. Every year it takes place. The central attraction of this PPV is a special match, where multiple superstars compete to grab a briefcase which is hung above the ring and it contains a World Championship contract. This contract can be cashed in upon the World Champion at any point of time and place. This contract almost guarantees a new Champion. To climb and grab the case, ladders are utilized.

This year, 10 matches have been fixed so far. Let us predict the possible winners and outcomes of those contests.

1. Men's Money in the Bank

Probable Winner- Miz

Miz has done it in the past and if speculations are to believed, he might win this year too. It would set up a plot and new story-lines between him and Shinsuke Nakamura and AJ Styles for the WWE Championship. Also, he has unfinished business with Daniel Bryan. Bryan can prevent the cashing of the contract and it could lead to a new path for the title heading to WrestleMania 35.

2. Women's Money in the Bank- Natalya

Natalya is one of the hot favorites heading in this match. She has been a Champion before but is out of the limelight for quite some time. Currently, she is shown mentoring Ronda Rousey. Natalya has not received any major push for a long time and if she wins this, she can cash it upon either Ronda Rousey or Nia Jax. The other competitors in this match are either beginners or too big a star to win this match.

3. AJ Styles vs Shinsuke Nakamura- AJ Styles

This should be a good match and unlike their previous encounters, we are guaranteed to see a winner. Last Man Standing stipulation would set the stage for an outstanding brawl. However, Nakamura probably won't win. He has been given several opportunities but WWE would promote Styles over Nakamura any day. This match should bring an end to their rivalry.

4. Nia Jax vs Ronda Rousey- Ronda Rousey

Ronda Rousey has always been in the headlines ever since she made her debut in the WWE. WWE would leave no stone unturned to promote her. She has got the title shot within a very short span of time. If she wins, it would cause problems between her and Natalya. Hence, we are likely to see a new champion.

5. Carmella vs Asuka- Carmella

Carmella is also getting a lot of push from WWE. She cashed in her contract upon Charlotte Flair and won the Championship. Asuka, on the other hand, is no more the women she used to be. She has lost the aura of fear that she used to carry along with her. Probably the RAW Women's title is going to change hands, so Carmella is likely to retain the title in all probability.

6. Roman Reigns vs Jinder Mahal- Roman Reigns

This match is going to be the least interested match. WWE Universe does not like either of them. This is an utmost attempt on the part of WWE to promote Roman Reigns as the Babyface of the company against the villainous Jinder Mahal. Without a doubt, Roman Reigns is likely to win.

7. The Bludgeon Brothers vs Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson- The Bludgeon Brothers

Bludgeon Brothers are on a roll ever since they won the titles. They are tough competitors and also has the Champion's advantage. If no major twists or plots are likely to come into play, The Bludgeon brothers should have an easy victory and must retain their title.

8. Bobby Lashley vs Sami Zayn- Bobby Lashley

This rivalry is heading nowhere. It should again be an easy victory for Bobby Lashley. The would continue to battle, but for MITB PPV, Lashley is likely to win in all probable.

9. Bray Wyatt and Matt Hardy vs Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel- Bray Wyatt and Matt Hardy

Even though the 'B team' looks formidable, they don't stand a chance against Hardy and Wyatt. Both Hardy and Wyatt have remained undefeated ever since they united. The only way they can lose the titles if Wyatt turns against Hardy. That is not likely to happen and thus they will retain the title.

10. Seth Rollins vs Elias- Seth Rollins

WWE loves to promote Rollins and they would make sure he comes out as the IC Champion. It is likely to be a good contest, and Elias could use underhand tactics to annihilate Rollins. However, Rollins is a fighting Champion and would emerge victorious and likely to retain his title.

11. Daniel Bryan vs Big Cass- Big Cass

Even though Daniel Bryan is more likely to receive the cheers from the fans, but WWE would love to make Cass win to put an end to this rivalry. Bryan has defeated Cass previously, and it makes no sense if history repeats. Daniel Bryan would surely put a good contest, but Cass will emerge as the winner.
