After the very successful Royal Rumble, it is time for the NXT Superstars to step up and they will get a chance at NXT Vengeance Day which will take place on 4th February. This will be an opportunity for the NXT Superstars to show the world that they are as good as the main roster and the men and women in NXT deserve more eyeballs on them. There are a total of 5 Matches on the card.
NXT Vengeance Day 2024 Match Card
Baron Corbin and Bron Breakker vs Carmelo Anthony and Trick Williams for NXT Tag Team Championship
This is the first match in this show and it will be Baron Corbin and Bron Breakker vs Carmelo Anthony and Trick Williams. This will be easily the biggest and most star studded tag team title match in NXT in years. Baron Corbin and Bron Breakker have made an excellent team and Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams have their long friendship which is eroding week by week. Carmelo Anthony and Trick Williams will win the NXT tag team titles because Bron Breakker will be going to the main roster.
Lyra Valkaria vs Roxanne Perez for NXT Women’s Championship
This is one of the toughest matches that Lyra Valkaria has had since becoming champion. Roxanne Perez has the experience of big matches and she has been the NXT Champion before. It will be one of the best matches of the night and they should get at least 20 minutes to tell a great story as well. Lyra Valkaria will win the match and retain her Championship and walk into WrestleMania weekend.
Oba Femi vs Dragon Lee for NXT North American Championship
This is a rematch from the match in NXT where Oba Femi won the NXT North American Championship from Dragon Lee. This match will be interesting because there are 2 completely different styles at play in this match. Dragon Lee is a high flying master and Oba Femi is the powerhouse. This will be 15 minutes long and Oba Femi will retain his championship.
Ilja Dragunov vs Trick Williams for NXT Championship
It looks like it will be double duty for Trick Williams on Vengeance Day. First he will have the NXT Tag Team Championship match and in the main event Trick Williams will face Ilja Dragunov for the NXT Championship. This has been a match which has been months in the making but Ilja Dragunov is injured and now he is perfectly fine. This will be a banger and Carmelo Hayes will try to not let Trick Williams win but somehow Trick Williams will win this match and become NXT Champion.
The Family vs OTM
This will be a six person mixed tag team match and this will be the match where the superstars who did not have the opportunity to be in championship matches at this show will get to shine. It will have Tony D’ Angelo, Channing Lorenzo and Adrianna Rizzo of The Family. On the other side will be Lucien Price, Bronco Nina and Jaida Parker. The Family will win this match.
