NXT Spring Breakin Night 2 Results

The second night of NXT Spring Breakin is in the books, and it was yet again another incredible show from top to bottom. This show was a reminder that NXT has one of the best rosters in professional wrestling. They lost six of their top stars in the WWE Draft. The next PPV for NXT will be NXT Battleground on June 9.

Let’s look at the results for NXT Spring Breakin Night 2.

Oba Femi beat Ivar for the NXT North American Championship

This was the first match of the show, and this was a banger of a match between two of the biggest men in NXT. They showed that the weight does not matter, and if the skills are there, then anyone can have a great wrestling match. These two had an 11-minute match where Oba Femi was tested, and he proved that he was a worthy champion. After the match, Wes Lee returned, and it was an amazing sight to see him after so long.

Thea Hail beat Jacy Jayne

The first women’s match of the evening was the one between Thea Hail vs Jacy Jayne. This was an 8-minute match, and both women made full use of their time. They had a very good match, but Jacy Jayne got hurt in the match. Thea Hail won the match, and she will look to compete for the NXT Women’s North American Championship. Fallon Henley turned on Thea Hail after the match.

Ava announces a ladder match for the NXT Women’s North American Championship

The NXT general manager, Ava, announced on the show that at the NXT Battleground, there will be a ladder match that will involve six women. They will compete to become the first-ever NXT Women’s North American Champion. There will be 12 women who complete the qualifying matches, and from those, six women will qualify for the ladder match. Jaida Parker, Sol Ruca, and Mia Yim made their case to be the champion.

Ridge Holland beat Shawn Spears

It was the weakest match of the show, and it was a shame because these two men were great wrestlers. They had an 8-minute match, but they were not able to make use of their time. Ridge Holland beat Shawn Spears, and hopefully, this is the end of their feud.

Axiom and Nathan Frazer beat AOP for the NXT Tag Team Championship

It was the co-main event of the show, and in this match, several main roster stars were a part of it. The battle lasted for 10 minutes, and it was a very good tag team title match. The two teams are extremely talented, and they put on a show. The Street Profits and New Catch Republic helped Axiom and Nathan Frazer retain the tag team titles.

Lola Vice beat Natalya in the NXT Underground Match

It was frankly the best match of the night and one of the top three matches from the entire two nights of NXT Spring Breakin. These two women were on a mission to prove all their doubters wrong, and they had 12 minutes to do just that. Lola Vice showed her MMA skills that she had learned over the years. Natalya used all her Hart Dungeon training in this match. NXT women need more such matches.
