SummerSlam 2025 is the first 2 night SummerSlam in history. The match card that has been assembled is way better than was put together for WrestleMania 41. Gunther vs CM Punk for World Heavyweight Championship
This is one of the matches that have been announced for SummerSlam Saturday. It is the match for the World Heavyweight Championship. This match has 2 of the best In WWE going at it for the World title. Gunther has been a champion for more than 80% of his time in WWE and he never has a bad match. CM Punk will look to have one of the best matches of his career. This match can be the main event Saturday because it features two top WWE superstars who have been at this top for many years. This is a dream match for all the fans of professional wrestling. This is the only men’s World title match on Saturday. There is also Tiffany Stratton vs Jade Cargill but that has not been built well. CM Punk faced John Cena at WWE Night of Champions and that was a Banger. This match will be close to 25 minutes and the main event will be the perfect spot. However it has one major competition on the night. Gunther will face his biggest and most serious test at SummerSlam. Getting the main event slot at the biggest SummerSlam of all time will elevate the title which is a little more than 2 years old.
Roman Reigns and Jey Uso vs Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed
This is the second match that could main event Night 1 of SummerSlam Saturday. This is a big time tag team match that will take place. Since the night after WrestleMania 41, Paul Heyman has aligned himself with Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. They took out Roman Reigns, CM Punk, Jey Uso, Sami Zayn and others. It was looking all good but Seth Rollins got injured against LA Knight. This has put a dark shadow on the group. Both the Brons have to step up. They will face the team of main event Jey Uso who has become one of the most over WWE superstars and the fans say YEET all the time. However the reason that this match is in the running to be the main event for Night 1 is the name Roman Reigns. Roman Reigns will Team with his cousin Jey Uso. The name Roman Reigns means main event. He is the biggest star in the WWE currently by a mile. The fans have finally acknowledged the babyface Tribal Chief. This match can be incredible. Triple H will have a tough decision to make whether to give the World title match the main event spot or the match with the biggest stars in WWE the spot.
