The story behind Shane McMahon Departure from WWE

Never in anyone’s wildest dreams could they have envisioned a day when the prodigal son, the heir apparent, would be forced to leave WWE at least for a period of time. Shane McMahon was scheduled to compete at the Elimination chamber PPV in Jeddah and face Seth Rollins in a singles match at WrestleMania, however it will not happen right now. The reason for it is very complicated and it all happened within a span of One day.

The backstage news that is coming out in the departure of Shane McMahon indicates that he was the one responsible for his release from WWE at least for some time. He used his clout and influence to book himself strongly. So, let’s look at some of the reasons why Shane McMahon was let go from WWE.

Being selfish

Selfishness is a trait that takes people nowhere. I'd say the intention of the individual is not good for the overall organization. Shane McMahon did exactly that as because there was a fixed booking place of the Royal Rumble match and on the day of the event, Shane McMahon wanted to change the booking decisions to make himself look strong in the match and that infuriated a lot of his fellow WWE superstars who felt he was using his last Name in a wrong way. Even so, his father Vince McMahon shot down all his ideas as they were against the set plan for the match. All this chaos and confusion resulted in a Royal Rumble match that was the most boring in years and bereft of genuine surprises and the major fault of this being pinned on Shane McMahon.

Screwing Bad Bunny

Bad Bunny is one of the most recognizable stars in the world and the biggest Latin star in the world. He loves WWE and his performance at WrestleMania last year impressed everyone backstage and that’s the reason why he was brought back in this year’s Royal Rumble but it was Shane McMahon again who screwed with his booking so many times like changing the entry number of Bad Bunny in the match and the WWE management were very unhappy with Shane over this as they did not want to be looked at negatively while dealing with such a big star and they did not want to upset Bad Bunny as well so everyone was very angry with Shane over this reason as well.

Fallout

Whatever happened that day is the fault of Shane McMahon as he openly buried the other producers of the match like Jamie Noble and thus garnered much heat from almost everyone in WWE. Shane McMahon was scheduled to wrestle at Elimination chamber and WrestleMania and now those plans have been nixed completely and he has been let go. This situation could have been avoided if Shane McMahon had gone along with the other producers of the match and accepted his booking. This wound will take a lot of time to heal for WWE and Shane McMahon as well. Hopefully such a situation is not repeated in the future and Shane McMahon will be back soon in a WWE ring.
