We discussed some matches in Part 1 of the results article for the Royal Rumble 2022 and now it’s time to talk about the Three other matches that were on this show. The two World title matches were amazing and all 4 of the wrestlers involved did a damn good job tonight and I especially loved the storyline progression in both the matches and the Royal Rumble was not the best but it has some great moments and amazing returns as well.

The Universal Championship match between Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins was one of the best in terms of both storytelling and match quality and the same can be said for the other two matches but the only hope is there would have been more substantial returns in the men’s Royal Rumble match. So, let’s look in detail about the matches that happened on this show.

Universal championship Match

This was the match that started the show proper and the entrances were one of the best things about this show and especially the Shield entrance by Seth Rollins to get in the mind of Roman Reigns and Seth had early control of the match as Roman could not muster any offence for the first few minutes of this match but slowly Roman started dominating Seth and hit hiscoes but as usual Seth countered some of his moves and hit an amazing pedigree to a near fall. The match was going great but Seth was getting under Roman’s skin and finally Roman got disqualified and after the match in a poetic moment he hit Seth Rollins in the back with a chair and pummelled him.

WWE Championship match

This match was a literal dream match for all the fans of not just WWE but MMA fans as well as both are legitimate killers in the ring. The in ring walks were amazing and as soon as the match started the test of strength started and they gave lots of Suplexes to each other and hit a lot of other movies but to no avail and then suddenly Brock accidentally hit the referee and then came Roman Reigns who smashed Brock with the title and Paul Heyman betrays Brock and took the side of his tribal chief.

Men’s Royal Rumble match

The start to this Rumble match was perfect as AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura were number 1 and 2. At number 3 came Mr McMahon’s student Austin Theory and Shinsuke Nakamura was evicted early. Then at number 8 came out Sami Zayn and at number 9 was Johnny Knoxville who wore something ridiculous and he was one of the highlights of the Rumble and the fans loved him. At number 11 was Omos ,one of the favorites but he was eliminated by a team of six other superstars and a big threat was out of this match. Then for a few entrants there was nothing special and then came number 21 and it was the return of Drew McIntyre after his injury and immediately eliminated MadCap Moss and Happy Corbin and beat them up bad. The next few entrants after 21 were talented superstars like Kevin Owens, Rey Mysterio, Big E etc but it was from the number 27 spot that the Rumble match got really amazing coz at number 27 it was the return of Bad Bunny as he again showed he is the best celebrity wrestler around and at number 28 was Shane McMahon but it wax all about number 29 and when Randy Orton's music hit the arena lost its mind and it was great to see him so happy but at number 30 was an angry Brock Lesnar and he started throwing people one by one untill it was he and Drew McIntyre remaining and Brock eliminated him and won the match and his ticket to WrestleMania again.
