CM Punk calls John Cena his wrestling soulmate. This match that they had at SummerSlam 2011 for the WWE Championship is one of the best ever. Triple H was the referee for this match, and he called it straight down the middle. This was a very good match, and both men were hitting their big moves on each other. CM Punk won the match by hitting the GTS and pinning John Cena. After the match Kevin Nash returned and took out CM Punk. This was a special match for both CM Punk and John Cena. This was a great feud that would last more than a year and more incredible matches.
4. SummerSlam 2025 against Gunther
In the latest run that CM Punk has had with the WWE, his match against Gunther at SummerSlam 2025 has been his best. However, this year against Cody Rhodes could top that. CM Punk vs. Gunther was a good old one-on-one match for the World Heavyweight Championship.
They main-evented Night 1, and they had an incredible 30-minute match. CM Punk got bloodied, and Gunther gave a lot of punishment to CM Punk. CM Punk won the match, and he won the World Heavyweight Championship but was immediately cashed in on by Seth Rollins. This year he will go into SummerSlam as the WWE Champion.
5. SummerSlam 2024 against Drew Mcintyre
The year 2024 was the year of CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre. These two men had the best feud of the year. They would go on to have 3 matches, and the first was at SummerSlam 2024. This was a good match with Seth Rollins as the special guest referee. CM Punk showed that he still has got it and he can wrestle the best in the world.
