Liv Morgan vs Stephanie Vaquer for Women’s World Championship
The first confirmed match is the one for the Women’s World Championship. Liv Morgan won the 2026 Women’s Royal Rumble and she picked Stephanie Vaquer to face at WrestleMania 42. This has turned into a personal feud as both women have questioned each other’s journeys to WWE. Stephanie Vaquer cut a promo in Spanish that made Liv Morgan cry. This is a big test for both these women and they will look to show that Triple H was right in having faith in them. There are still 40 days for physicality and more promos to make this one of the biggest Matches of WrestleManias 42.
Rhea Ripley vs Jade Cargill for WWE Women’s Championship
This is one of those rare cross Brand matches at WrestleMania 42. Jade is the WWE Women’s Champion and Rhea Ripley won the Women’s Elimination Chamber Match. This was the best possible match that the WWE could have done for WrestleMania. Jade has not had a meaningful feud ever since becoming champion and Rhea Ripley will provide her with exactly that. These 2 women have already raised the heat for this feud during their Twitter exchange that got very real very quick. This made the fans curious and they should use this in their promos to build the match. This will be the biggest match in the career of Jade Cargill. Rhea Ripley will help her control the nerves at WrestleMania.

AJ Lee vs Becky Lynch for Women’s Intercontinental Championship
This has not been made official but it is as good as official. These two women had a match at Elimination Chamber where AJ Lee won the match and the Intercontinental Championship. These two women had a very good match and Becky Lynch deserves a big match at WrestleMania 42. She has been one of the absolute best characters in WWE. AJ Lee has gotten better with every wrestling match that she has and these two women will fight once again at WrestleMania 42 but there will be a stipulation added to the match to make it feel bigger than the last match they had. They will look to steal the show.
Giulia vs Tiffany Stratton for Women’s United States Championship
This is a match that will be truly incredible. On one side is the best wrestler Giulia who has worked hard for years and finally she is in WWE. She has been the Women’s United States Champion for a long time and has not had a meaningful feud yet. Tiffany Stratton will change that as she will for sure have a match at WrestleMania 42. The Women’s United States Championship needs big star power attached to it and Giulia can have that with Tiffany Stratton. This will be a clash of two opposite styles which will match up very well. All the Women’s titles should be represented at WrestleMania 42.
Asuka vs Iyo Sky
This will be the only non title women’s match that will happen at WrestleMania 42. This is a dream match of all dream matches. The two best women to ever come out of Japan facing each other at WrestleMania. Asuka has never won a match at WrestleMania. Iyo Sky had the best WWE Match of the year last year at WrestleMania. These two women have a long history with each other and Kairi Sane will be an important part of this storyline. Triple H loves both of these women and he will ensure that they get all the time to shine.
A Multi Tag Team Match for Women’s Tag Team Championship
Nia Jax and Lash Legend are the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. There are multiple teams that are trying to win the titles from them. A number 1 Contenders Match has been announced for next week but Triple H can do the smart thing and use this match to get as many women at WrestleMania 42. There might be a temptation to do Charlotte Flair vs Alexa Bliss at WrestleMania but neither of them should turn on the other. They will help the other women get a prominent spot at WrestleMania 42. The other teams could be Chelsea Green and Alba Fyre, Bayley and Lyra Valkyria, Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez. All of these women have worked hard and have earned their spot at WrestleMania 42.
