The 2024 Elimination Chamber is in the books and it was a great last PPV on the Road to WrestleMania 40. There were a total of 4 Matches on the card and the Grayson Waller effect with Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins. This show Started at 3:30 PM IST. More than 52,590 fans were there at the Optus Stadium in Perth to cheer on the WWE superstars. The matches were great and each match got time. 2 Big time championship matches were made official for WrestleMania 40.
Let’s talk about the results for WWE Elimination Chamber 2024
Women’s Elimination Chamber Match
The first match was the Women’s Elimination Chamber Match which was for the number 1 contenders spot for the Women’s World Championship at WrestleMania 40. The 6 women in this match were Becky Lynch, Naomi, Tiffany Straton, Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez and Bianca Belair. This match was 32 minutes long and this was one of the best matches in the entire show. All 6 women were great but it was Tiffany Straton who was the star as the 50,000+ fans were cheering for her the most. She cheered while the faces were booed. She had a breakout performance. Raquel Rodriguez was amazing as well as Liv Morgan. Bianca Belair and Becky Lynch were their usual best. This match was fast paced and it was a good finish as Liv Morgan rolled up Bianca Belair and immediately Becky Lynch hit her finisher to win the match. Becky Lynch earned the ticket to WrestleMania 40.
The Judgement Day vs The Catch Republic
This was a much better match than anyone had anticipated. This was one of the best tag team matches in recent history. It was Finn Balor and Damian Priest vs Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate. These are 4 amazing wrestlers who tore the house down in an 18 minute match. There were so many near falls and Tyler Bate got to show all his power and skills. They had the crowd in the palm of their hands. This was tag team wrestling at its very best. The Judgement Day won a hard fought match and they will look forward to WrestleMania 40.
Grayson Waller Effect
Next was the highly anticipated segment with Grayson Waller and his guests Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins. Grayson Waller was cheered by his home country and he was enjoying. Theory got booed out of the building. Seth Rollins came out and then Cody Rhodes and both of them got huge pops. The gist of this segment was that Cody Rhodes challenged The Rock to a one on one match and Seth Rollins said that whenever that happens Cody Rhodes will not be alone. They then went on to hit Austin Theory with their finishing moves.
Men’s Elimination Chamber Match
The second last match of the show was the Men’s Elimination Chamber Match. This match was to determine the number 1 contender for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 40 and the winner would face Seth Rollins. The men in this match were Drew McIntyre, Randy Orton, LA Knight, Logan Paul, Bobby Lashley and Kevin Owens. This match was one of the better Elimination Chamber Matches for the men in some time. Drew McIntyre started the match and one by one each superstar came in this match and everyone added something. It was Kevin Owens who was the star along with Logan Paul. AJ Styles appeared and he took out LA Knight. It was between Randy Orton and Drew McIntyre as the last 2 in this 37 minute classic. Randy Orton hit the RKO but Logan Paul took out Randy and Drew McIntyre won the match and he will face Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 40.
Rhea Ripley vs Nia Jax for Women’s World Championship
It was the main event and there was no doubt that it would be the main event. The entire PPV was built around Rhea Ripley. Nia Jax came out first and then the loudest cheers were reserved for Rhea Ripley. She was emotional during her entrance. It was great seeing 52,000+ cheering her. This was a match fit to be the main event of such a big show. Nia Jax had the best match of her WWE career. This was a 15 minute match where Rhea Ripley used all sorts of moves to win. Rhea Ripley is one of the biggest faces and she will go to WrestleMania 40 and will face Becky Lynch.
