Azad Football Club in association with District Football Association, Faridabad are returning with the 5th Season of its tournament. The tournament is being played annually since 2014. The tournament is scheduled at the Air force ground in NIT Faridabad near NH4.
The Organisers:
Azad football club was founded in the early 1970s with a vision of increasing the football culture in the region. Currently, Mr. Satnam Singh and Mr. Anil Banga hold the position of President and Sr Vice President, respectively. The club has always promoted the local talent of the region and is known for producing the skilled players. A large number of the alumnus of the club have represented their respective states and districts in the national and state-level tournament respectively.
Format Of The tournament:
The number of participating teams in the tournament is 24. The matches will be played in a knockout format with four groups consisting of 6 teams each. The knockouts of the group will be played under a double-elimination model in a way that two teams from the each of the group will move forward to the Quater Finals.
The tournament is being played in both male and female divisions. The female round concluded on 23rd August, and the last two teams proceeded to the finals which will compete on 25th August. Many national-level players who have represented their respective teams participated in the tournament.
The male round will be played on the 24th and 25th of August.

As mostly all top clubs from Delhi are participating in the tournament, it is expected to be a tight affair. The event will garner attention from all the football lovers in the region. The event is expected to be a high octane affair, and every top player in the area is eager for the event. The organizers want to give these football players a platform to showcase their talent and hence arrange these events and provide the players with what they need the most to improve their quality.
