The United States finished in the top three places in the men’s 110m hurdles in the 2026 Diamond League Final, as Ja'Kobe Tharp claimed his maiden Diamond League title.
Tharp completed his race in 13.03 seconds to secure the title, while Jamal Britt (13.09) and Trey Cunningham (13.22) clinched the second and third places, respectively.
Another American, Cordell Tinch, the defending champion and World Athletics Championships 2025 gold medalist, was fighting strongly but was unfortunately disqualified late in the race. Kendry Menéndez from Cuba finished in fourth place after finishing the race in 13.32 seconds.

Who is Ja'Kobe Tharp?
The American athlete Ja'Kobe Tharp claimed his first Diamond League title. He is now the world record holder in the men’s 110m hurdles by finishing the race in 12.75 seconds in Eugene in June 2026. Before the Final, Tharp won twice in the 2026 Diamond League season, in London and Zurich.
