Best Midfielders Fantasy Premier League GW16
Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United, £9.1m)
Bruno Fernandes has been one of the most significant stars of Ruben Amorim's Manchester United side. The Portuguese manager plays him in a deeper midfield role rather than his usual position behind the striker. Nonetheless, Fernandes has still been excellent when it comes to providing assists and is still the team's penalty taker. United are in great form right now, and will face a Bournemouth side who haven't been at their best recently. Thus, Fernandes stands out as one of the best FPL midfielders this week.
Bukayo Saka (Arsenal, £10.2m)
Wolves are without a doubt the worst team in the Premier League right now. Thus, it would be a dream come true scenario for Fantasy Premier League owners of Bukayo Saka when he's probably going to terrorize the Wolves defense and go on a rampage. Saka is a must-have in our opinion for Gameweek 16. In addition to being one of the best FPL Midfielder options for this week, he's also one a top captaincy pick as well.
Dominik Szoboszlai (Liverpool, £6.6m)
In a season that's been nothing less than a disaster both on and off the field for Liverpool, Dominik Szoboszlai has been that rare bright spark for Arne Slot's side this campaign. He has been their best player so far this season, and even averages a goal contribution per game in the Champions League for Liverpool. At his current form and cheap price of £6.6m, Szoboszlai is a fantastic FPL Midfielder pick for this week. The fact Liverpool face Brighton at Anfield is also another bonus as well.
Morgan Rogers (Aston Villa, £7.0m)
The 2025-2026 season will be remembered as the one where Morgan Rogers took over as the main man of Aston Villa's attack. He has been spectacular this season, and the scary thing is he's only going to get better. Villa are the best team in EPL right now form wise, and that makes Rogers an even more attractive FPL pick. Villa face West Ham away as well, which is a decent fixture.
Phil Foden (Manchester City, £8.6m)
Manchester City have been in terrific form recently, and Phil Foden has been the main star behind it. On current form, he's even better than Erling Haaland. If you have the budget or you're planning to do a wildcard, we suggest that you absolutely need to buy Foden considering his current form. Palace away is a tough fixture, but Foden in his current form could provide attacking returns against anyone.
