International football's oldest rivalry will unfold at Wembley Stadium in the Euro 2020 on Friday evening. England versus Scotland is talked fixture every time these two clashes and a lot will be at stake this time out. An England win will seal their faith to the last 16 while Scotland can't afford a loss against their arch-rivals to stay in the competition.

England won their Euro opener against Croatia through a Raheem Sterling strike giving them the edge before facing the Scots. The latter put their best efforts against the Czech Republic at Hampden Park but came out 2-0 losers. It will be an enormous battle.

ENG vs SCO Dream11 Team News :

Injuries & suspensions

The Three Lions lost Dean Henderson due to a hip injury resulting in withdrew from the squad. Aaron Ramsdale comes in for his replacement after initially got stripped from the final 26 men list. Jordan Pickford will start in between the sticks anyway.

Harry Maguire (ankle) and Jordan Henderson (groin) are two key players at the end of their recovery phase but won't make it in the starting eleven for Friday's pivotal match. Jack Grealish missed training on Tuesday because of an unreported issue but will be available for selection.

Scotland missed Kieran Tierney badly as they went down against the Czechs and his comeback still requires days. The Arsenal man is suffering from a calf problem and the fixture against England come too soon for him. Manager Steve Clark also didn't sound confident while giving his injury update post-game.

England vs Scotland Predicted Lineups :

England: Jordan Pickford; Kyle Walker, John Stones, Tyrone Mings, Luke Shaw, Kelvin Phillips, Declan Rice, Mason Mount, Raheem Sterling, Harry Kane, Phil Foden

Scotland: David Marshall, Jack Hendry, Grant Hanley, Liam Cooper, James Forrest, Scott McTominay, Stuart Armstrong, John McGinn, Andrew Robertson, Lyndon Dykes, Che Adams

England vs Scotland Head to Head :

England and Scotland played the first-ever international football in 1872 building the game we love. England have won 48 clashes since then compared to 41 wins for Scotland, 25 have resulted in a draw. The last meeting between the sides occurred in 2017 ending in an enthralling 2-2 draw. 1999 European Championship featured both of them last time in which Scotland got the better of their opponents.

ENG vs SCO Dream11 Fantasy Team :

GK: Jordan Pickford (Eng)

DEF: John Stones (Eng), Tyrone Mings (Eng), Grant Hanley (Sct),

MID: John McGinn (Sct), Declan Rice (Eng), Kalvin Philips (Eng), Andrew Robertson (Sct),

FW: Raheem Sterling (Eng), Harry Kane (Eng), Che Adams (Sct)

The squad is resilient on England quite clearly because of their convincing, if not beautiful, 1-0 win over Croatia. Raheem Sterling was the scorer and will contribute again in the next one. Praise goes to an unbelievable performance from Kelvin Philips who bossed the entirety of the game. Harry Kane didn't find the net in the Euro opener but willing to score against the arch-rivals have done in this game back in 2017.

Match Prediction: England 2-0 Scotland

Euro 2020 will hold one of the hottest rivalries in international football. When it comes to these games it is a sense of unpredictability, passion, fights, drive and above all pride so anything could be in the cards. But it's fair to say England will get the upper hand in this tie and score a few goals. Scotland wasn't bad against the Czech Republic but the big competition mentality is missing. It will be Gareth Southgate's men knocking on the next round.
