The Three Lions could have stolen all three points again despite their unconvincing show but the woodwork denied Phil Foden. That being said, the Three Lions have managed just two wins from seven matches so they could not take this battle lightly.

Slovenia were only minutes away from registering the first win in their Euros history as an independent nation with Zan Karnicnik’s opener in the first half. The Slovenian hearts were broken when Luka Jovic headed in from a corner in the fifth minute of added time. Matjaz Kek's side has now played three consecutive 1-1 draws but maintained their impressive eight-game unbeaten streak. Placed third after the result, the team carries the same points and goal difference as second-place Denmark with a victory in the final group game sealing a last-16 spot. A draw will lead to dependency on other results but avoiding defeat against England is a big challenge as they have lost five of the six meetings against them. The only point earned in this fixture was the 1-1 draw in the 2018 World Cup qualifiers eight years ago. Still, Slovenia will make it hard for their opponents to create history on Tuesday.
