FRA vs GER Dream 11 Team News:

Injuries & Suspension

Returning to the French squad, Karim Benzema picked up a knock in the pre-tournament friendly against Bulgaria. He has since shaken that off and will be available to lead the line at the Euros for Les Blues. Forward Antoine Griezmann and defender Raphael Varane have also regained fitness after sustaining minor knocks. Kurt Zouma is the only player out with an injury concern for Didier Deschamps's men.

Germany will have to wait for Leon Goretzka to return to action as he continues to nurse from muscle injury. The star midfielder won't be playing the pivotal Euro opener. Gladbach's Jonas Hoffmann is absent with a knee injury. The rest of the squad is fit with returnees, Thomas Muller and Mats Hummels set to feature from the start.

FRA vs GER Predicted Lineups :

France: Lloris; Pavard, Varane, Kimpembe, Hernandez, Kante, Pogba, Rabiot, Griezmann, Mbappe, Benzema

Germany: Neuer; Ginter, Hummels, Rudiger, Kimmich, Kroos, Gundogan, Gosens, Havertz, Muller, Gnabry

FRA vs GER Head to Head :

In the previous five meetings between the sides, France clearly have the upper hand. Since losing to the Germans in the quarterfinals of 2014 World Cup, France have tested victory three times and scoring twice each time. Germany have managed to score only twice in those outings.

Germany were also knocked out by the Euro 2016 finalist in the semifinals stage of the competition. A brace from the golden boot winner Antoinne Griezmann sealed the deal for the Blues that night and spearheaded them to the final of the competition.

FRA vs GER Dream 11 Team Prediction

DEF: Raphael Varane (Fra), Mats Hummels (Ger), Mattias Ginter (Ger), Lukas Hernandez (Fra)

MID: Joshua Kimmich (Ger), N'Golo Kante (Fra), Adrien Rabiot (Fra)

Prediction: France 2-1 Germany

It will be quite an entertaining game to watch as the two titans clash.
