Pre-season testing is one of the most exciting phases for any fan to witness the new F1 cars before the actual production unit. With all the new rules and regulations of the 2026 season, the teams are advised to conduct the pre-season testing of their cars between January 26 and 30, 2026.

Fact: The 2026 F1 pre-season testing at Barcelona remains completely private—no live broadcast and no public access. The only other two pre-season tests in Bahrain are open to media houses and news broadcasters.

There will be two more pre-season tests to speculate on all of the dimensions and technology that F1 teams will be using on their F1 cars. The following are the dates of the 2026 F1 pre-season testing:

  • Pre-Season Testing 1—January 26-30, 2026

  • Pre-Season Testing 2—February 11-13, 2026

  • Pre-Season Testing 3—February 18-20, 2026

F1 Fact: Teams are only permitted to run their F1 cars on three of the five days available during the private test at Barcelona Circuit.
