This time the number of Trades that have happened before the IPL auction is a first. The IPL teams have become accustomed to trading players to other teams before the auction. There are some big trades and some players that were needed by the teams for a specific role.
Let’s look at the Players that have been traded
Ravindra Jadeja to Rajasthan Royals
The biggest trade that has happened has to be Ravindra Jadeja. He has played for the CSK franchise for 12 seasons. Ravindra has played 250 Matches for the CSK and then to suddenly trade him to Rajasthan Royals was a shocker for the Chennai fans. He has scored over 2500 runs and taken 150 Wickets for the team. He is going back to a team that he played for in the first season and won the title. He was traded for 14 crore to Rajasthan Royals. Rajasthan Royals have got one of the best all rounders of all time.

He has been traded to LSG and he is a very good backup option for Hardik Pandya. Shardul Thakur has played for India and he has tremendous IPL experience.
