Oman are ready to challenge the big teams for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, which India and Sri Lanka are set to host jointly from 7th February to 8th March 2026.
It will be Oman’s fourth ICC Men’s T20 World Cup participation, as they qualified for the tournament after finishing in second position in the Asia–EAP Regional Final Qualifiers.
In the T20 World Cup history, Oman have recorded two wins, one win each in the 2016 and 2021 editions, and never crossed the first round.
Oman are in Group B of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, as they will play all their matches in Sri Lanka. For their Super 8 qualification, if they replace the hosts Sri Lanka, they will play all the Super Eight fixtures in Sri Lanka in Group 2. However, if they replace Australia, they will play all the Super Eight matches in India from Group 1.
