There will be surprises at WWE Wrestlepalooza 2025 since it is the first time on ESPN for WWE and Triple H would want to make a splash. SummerSlam saw the return of Brock Lesnar which was not even in the realms of possibility at that time. The card for WWE Wrestlepalooza is stacked and there can be surprises throughout the show. The show will take place on 20th September 2025 in Indianapolis Indiana.

The Rock
The Rock is the first name in this list and he will be talked about till December when the John Cena retirement tour wraps. The Rock made John Cena turn heel and now that John Cena has become a babyface again therefore the continuation of the storyline is important. Having The Rock at the end of the show will be a massive surprise. They can make the match official for WWE Survivor Series in San Diego. This will be their final match and thrice in a lifetime.
Stone Cold Steve Austin
This is probably the wildest name in this list. Nobody is talking about this man as someone that John Cena could face in this retirement tour. Stone Cold Steve Austin was the face of WWE before John Cena. He was the man after Hulk Hogan and he made the WWE into a mainstream sport. If the glass shatters and the end of WWE Wrestlepalooza then the reactions will be similar to what they were when Brock Lesnar came back or maybe even more of a shock. John Cena vs Stone Cold Steve Austin for one last time sounds like a main event.
Paige
With the return of AJ Lee to WWE after 10 years, nothing is off the table. AJ Lee has returned to WWE and will have his first match in 10 years at WWE Wrestlepalooza. Paige has always said that she will always have a lot of love for AJ Lee. And she has said that she wants to come back to WWE. Triple H will make a big statement if she comes back to help AJ Lee against Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins. The fans would give her a great ovation. Paige deserves a second run with the best women’s division in the world and has Banger matches.
Ilja Dragunov
Ilja Dragunov has been out of WWE for almost a year. The fans have missed him and they want to see him wrestle. The month of September 2025 was the month where he was rumoured to return to WWE. There can be no better show than WWE Wrestlepalooza to return in front of the world. The Mad Dragon will add much needed fire to the WWE roster and he will have bangers against everybody. He can return to align himself with Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed.
