Ranking WWE PPVs on ESPN

It has been 5 months that the WWE and ESPN partnership has come into effect. During this time there have been 4 PPVs that have taken place. The quality of these PPVs have varied from great to average. There is still 4 years left on this deal and WWE has WrestleMania 42 coming up that ESPN will promote heavily.

Let’s Rank the WWE PPVs on ESPN so far

1) Crown Jewel 2025

This was the best PPV that the WWE and ESPN have had since the start of the partnership. This show was in Australia and this was the show that had John Cena vs AJ Styles. That match alone raised the profile of this PPV. The crowd in Australia was amazing as well. The match between Seth Rollins vs Cody Rhodes was also one of the best Matches of the year. However Seth Rollins getting injured was the worst part of this PPV.

2) Royal Rumble 2026

The Royal Rumble 2026 is the second best PPV on ESPN. This was held in Saudi Arabia and the fans were loud throughout the night. There were 4 Matches and the 2 Royal Rumble Matches were good with the women’s one being great. The AJ Styles vs Gunther Match was excellent which resulted in the retirement of AJ Styles. Roman Reigns winning the Royal Rumble was an incredible moment. Sami Zayn also got a huge ovation and has a good match against Drew Mcintyre.

3) Survivor Series Wargames

The first Survivor Series Wargames PPV held under ESPN was a mixed bag. There were some very good matches and some average. The Men’s Wargames Match was star studded and it had Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso. That match was very good. The Women’s Wargames Match had its moments but it was a basic match with big WWE superstars present. The John Cena vs Dominik Mysterio match was very entertaining. However the Stephanie Vaquer vs Nikki Bella match could have been better.

4) WrestlePalooza

At the bottom of the list is WrestlePalooza. This has been the least great PPV of the ESPN era so far. The John Cena vs Brock Lesnar match is the main reason for this. This was a squash match and the fans didn’t like it. The Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch vs CM Punk and AJ Lee Match was very good and probably one of the best matches of the night. Stephanie Vaquer vs Iyo Sky was the best match of the show. Cody Rhodes vs Drew Mcintyre was an average match. The viewership for the PPV was impressive. Now ESPN will have their first WrestleMania with 42 so WWE has a big responsibility to deliver one for the ages.
