1. SummerSlam 2022 against Brock Lesnar
This is easily the best SummerSlam Match that Roman Reigns has had so far. This Last Man Standing Match against Brock Lesnar is one of the best Last Man Standing Matches of all time. They used everything at their disposal. Brock Lesnar came out in a tractor, and Roman Reigns was using steel chairs and steel steps to attack the beast.
It was a pure spectacle, and it has one of the most unforgettable spots in WWE. Brock Lesnar was in a tractor, and he lifted the entire ring and ducked Roman Reigns to the outside. This was a 25-minute banger. However, the match against Seth Rollins could top this one.
2. SummerSlam 2021 against John Cena
The previous year, in 2021, Roman Reigns had the last match against John Cena. This was the clash of the 2 faces of WWE. This was a very competitive match, and Roman was in his Tribal Chief era. John Cena tried everything, including a Super AA from the top rope, but it didn’t work. Roman Reigns was dominant in some stretches of the match, and he won the match. This was the statement win for Ronan Reigns. After the match Brock Lesnar returned to WWE as a shock.
3. SummerSlam 2017 against Brock Lesnar, Braun Strowman and Samoa Joe
This was the best SummerSlam Match that Roman Reigns had as The Big Dog. This was a Fatal Four-Way Match for the WWE Championship. It was a physical match, as all 4 men were monsters. Ronan Reigns used his ability and speed to attack when it was possible. Braun Strowman was booked like a monster as he gave 2 running power slams to Brock Lesnar on the 2 announce tables. Ronan Reigns wrestled Samoa Joe and showcased his prowess. This was a chaotic banger, and such types of matches do not happen anymore.
4. SummerSlam 2023 against Jey Uso
This is the 4th match in this list, and Roman Reigns has had better matches in his career. However, since it is only SummerSlam, it was okay. During Summerslam 2023 Jey was on the rise, and both men decided that Tribal Combat would be the way to go in this match. It was a no-DQ match, and Roman Reigns was dominating Jey Uso at the start of this match. Jey made a comeback and was about to win but then Jimmy Uso cost his brother the title.
5. SummerSlam 2018 against Brock Lesnar
This is the third match in this list that has Brock Lesnar in it. These two men have had great matches at SummerSlam. However, this was the least good out of the 3. This was a short match, as before the match, Braun Strowman came out, and he said that he would cash in on the winner. Brock Lesnar took him out, and he got distracted. Roman Reigns took advantage, and he speared Brock and won the WWE Championship. This was the shortest match that Roman Reigns has had at SummerSlam, but it was entertaining enough to be in this list.
