WrestleMania is the biggest WWE event of the year and every year there are new WWE superstars that are having their first WrestleMania Matches. This year as well there are WWE superstars who will have their first Matches on the grandest stage of them all. This year the crop of young WWE talent is incredible and amongst the best in a decade. However as AJ Styles said that WrestleMania has lost some of its luster. This year could bring it back.
Let’s look at 5 WWE Superstars will have their first WrestleMania Matches
Trick Williams
It is for sure that Trick Williams will have his first WrestleMania Match at WrestleMania 42. He has been among the fastest rising stars ever since he came up from NXT. He is technically a heel but the pops he gets is reserved for the biggest babyfaces. The fans chant Whoop That Trick every time and for the entire Entrance. He will have a marquee singles match at WrestleMania against either Sami Zayn. Trick Williams will have WrestleMania at the palm of his hand in Las Vegas. WrestleMania will be Trick Williams country and he will have a star making performance.
Oba Femi
The Ruler Oba Femi will also have his first WrestleMania Match at WrestleMania 42. He will probably have the biggest match among all the names in this list. The reports are that he will go one on one with The Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar at the biggest show of the year. Brock Lesnar eliminated Oba Femi from the Royal Rumble. They have an inbuilt storyline and Oba Femi is Brock Lesnar when Brock Lesnar was new in 2002. Brock Lesnar will make Oba Femi into a star in one night. There can be a story which can be told that Oba Femi is here to take the spot of Brock Lesnar as the most dominant force in WWE.
Je’Von Evans
The third wrestler who will have their first WrestleMania Match at WrestleMania 42 is Je’Von Evans. He has also been incredible since his debut on the main roster. He has already been the Iron Man of the Royal Rumble Match in 2026. He has already had matches on Raw and delivered the OG Cutter from the top rope in mid air. Je’Von will most likely be in a multi man match for the Intercontinental Championship. Triple H and WWE loves a multi man match at WrestleMania preferably a ladder match. Je’Von Evans will main event a WrestleMania in the next 7-8 years.
Giulia
On the women’s side one of the women who has not had a match at WrestleMania but will have a big title match at WrestleMania 42 is Giulia. The Women’s United States Champion Giulia will have a match against Tiffany Stratton at WrestleMania 42. Tiffany Stratton was in the marquee match at WrestleMania 41 against Charlotte Flair. Therefore Giulia will get a big spotlight on her. The women will get 6 Matches at WrestleMania 42 which will be a record. Giulia will have the opportunity to make a statement on the grandest stage of them all.
Stephanie Vaquer
The current Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer will have her first WrestleMania Match at WrestleMania 42 against the 2026 Royal Rumble Winner Liv Morgan. Stephanie Vaquer has competed in almost every major WWE show except WrestleMania. She has been one of the standouts and she has rightly been made champion. She will be in one of the most high profile Matches at WrestleMania 42. Liv Morgan will also have her biggest match in her career at WrestleMania 42. The women will want to show that they are better than the Men.
