With the resulting fatigue owing to the return of the UEFA tournaments, football will move back to it’s respective leagues by the weekend. Naturally, it’s going to be intense with the FPL. It’s getting hard enough to predict as is and with the UCL and UEL tournaments throwing their own wrenches into the mix, being prudent is going to be a priority. Some players should still perform well, given how they’ve done for the rest of the season. Here are some of the best picks for GW 12 of the Fantasy Premier League.

#1. Christian Pulisic ( MID; Chelsea)

The youngster from the US has really dialed up his game a few notches over the past few weeks, putting up one impressive performance after the next. Chelsea has their own momentum going furthermore thanks to the midweek comeback 4-4 draw against Ajax. He has scored 29 points in the last two weeks and is up against Crystal Palace and while they aren’t pushovers, a win for the Londoners is still expected. There’s also the fact that he’s going for the fairly low price of 7.3 million (given how FPL-viable he has turned out to be).

#2. Matthew Ryan ( GK; Brighton)

Matthew Ryan has been consistent and averaged over 3 saves per game. He’s had 4 clean sheets and is currently going for 4.7 million. He is up against Manchester United and the red devils are having a hard time, sitting in the middle of the table. They’ve not scored many goals this season so far (13) and a win for them is far from certain.

#3. John Lundstram ( DEF; Sheffield United)

He is simply the best value-for-money player in all of FPL. Lundstram is still going for less than 5 million and there’s simply no reason to get him. He often plays high up in midfield which makes very prone to racking up big points, which is what he did when he had a whopping 21 last week. He has been contributing often and is by far, the highest-scoring defender with a 14 point lead over Pereira. Sheffield is up against Spurs, who like Man United, is having quite the rough spell as well.

#4. Joshua King ( FWD; Bournemouth)

The fact that he’s only 6.3 million makes him a very desirable bargain. King contributes frequently with 6 goal contributions so far in the league. He even scored against Bournemouth’s historic win against Man United last week. More often than not, he plays the full 90 minutes. He’s one of the best forwards in terms of points. He also has Callum Wilson up front to interact with, helping him rack up those goal contributions. His upcoming game is against Newcastle, a team that did have its moments but is still doing poorly in the PL and a win for King and co. is very likely.
