Epl Week 14 was one full of surprising results, with Arne Slot's side and Enzo Maresca's Chelsea suffering surprising losses. Premier League/EPL Team of the Week GW14
Goalkeeper
Jordan Pickford (Everton)
Pickford played a huge role in helping Everton earn a surprise victory over Bournemouth, as he made 2 saves and kept a clean sheet as well.
Defenders
Daniel Muñoz (Crystal Palace)
Muñoz has had a sensational season for Crystal so far, as he scored his third goal of the season against Burnley. He's had 6 goal contributions this season despite being a right-back.
Marc Guéhi (Crystal Palace)
Marc Guéhi continues to be a prime example of how to make a grand comeback even when life hits you with unexpected heartbreaks. Even after his dream move to Liverpool collapsed, he's been excellent for Palace.
Cristian Romero (Tottenham)
Spurs captain Romero truly displayed a heroic performance for his team with a stunning brace to help his side earn a point against Newcastle. Thomas Frank owes him a lot at the moment.
Neco Williams (Nottingham Forest)
Neco Williams had an impressive performance for Forest against Wolves. He's had a great season individually for Forest, and he could get a big move if he continues at this rate.
Midfielders
Jack Grealish (Everton)
Jack Grealish has had quite the revival at Everton. He scored the winner against Bournemouth, and now has a total of 6 goal contributions in just 13 Premier League games.
Amadou Onana (Aston Villa)
Amadou Onana has turned out to be a solid midfield signing for Aston Villa. He scored a goal in their crucial win over Brighton, and was influential in midfield as well.
Ao Tanaka (Leeds United)
Japanese star Tanaka had one of those great performances which he must've dreamed of earlier in life. The 27 year old Leeds midfielder put in a solid shift from midfield against Chelsea, and even scored a goal as well.
Phil Foden (Manchester City)
Phil Foden is slowly getting back to his very best for Manchester City, and he's stepping up in the past few weeks when Erling Haaland had been struggling. He could get back into the England national side if he continues at this rate.
Forwards
Erling Haaland (Manchester City)
After a few underwhelming games, Erling Haaland was back to his usual goalscoring self for Manchester City. He not only scored against Fulham, but even made an assist as well. Surely he's going to start another epic goalscoring run.
Mikel Merino (Arsenal)
Mikel Merino is probably the first ever player in our Premier League team of the week to be placed as a striker despite naturally being a midfielder. He has excelled in the no.9 role for Arteta's side recently, to the extent that Viktor Gyökeres isn't able to get back into the team after returning from injury.
