The Gujarat Titans are among the newest teams in the Indian Premier League (IPL), while they will play their fifth IPL season in the 2026 edition. They stunned in their first two seasons, where they won the title in their debut season in 2022 after beating the Rajasthan Royals in the Final by seven wickets. In their next season in 2023, the Titans once again reached the Final but lost that season against the Chennai Super Kings by five wickets in the DLS method.
After finishing in eighth position in the 2024 edition, Gujarat Titans reached the playoffs last season, where they were eliminated from the Eliminator.
Gujarat Titans retained 20 players ahead of the IPL 2026 mini-auction. While they started the mini-auction with the remaining purse value of INR 12.90 crore, they completed the remaining five slots, including adding three overseas players.
